Quick note, The Prophecy (based on characters created by Widen, same guy who came up with the characters for Highlander and The Crow, IIRC) was released summer of '95 and also stars Elias Koteas (couple of other good cameos by Adam Goldberg and Emily Comforto). There are two sequels, both of which are unspectacular, though at least The Prophecy 3 was mildly entertaining.
