This thread cracks me up, and reminds me again of the brilliance of SRD's writing...that readers can so despise a primary character and still love the books.

For me, the jury is still out on Linduh (**sizzle** Ouch that singed my beard!!). At times I find her tremendously annoying, but she managed to deal with her issues

Her first experience in the land was one long excoriation of her nerves via her health sense under the exposure of the Sunbane.

Her plight was more severe that TC's - when he entered the land, there were stretches of time where his every moment was not a struggle for physical survival. There were people providing warm fuzzies, even if he didn't want them. Linden (**sizzle** Ouch that singed my beard again!!) had no such reprieves.

she had to deal with a lot, ill grant you, but cov had half his hand fall of, a worry that one day he might be agonisingly deformed and all the crap he had to go through in the land. but the real reason we dont get on cov's case-we didnt have to sit through 4-yes thats 4!-books of him crying and whinging about it!

Also, I was thinking, since we can't use items right now, if we should make an official THOOLAH rank for members of THOOLAH. Maybe something like "THOOLAH Acolyte" or "Official THOOLAH Member" or something. Any ideas?
