Perhaps I will be gifted with yet another mud dragon?

You'll have to wait til the end of June for that one - this weekend I can cope with rain, as I'll be coming back to my own bed and can shower. Glastonbury (end of June, mud dragon) in the rain is much more of an ordeal.

I went to a wedding. I'd been dreading it - I hate weddings. In the end, though, I was glad I went, because I spent the whole of the reception catching up with a friend I haven't seen in some time. Indeed, we emerged from the whole ordeal much closer than we were before. Which is nice. :)

Friday, I went to my river house, chilled with a scotch on my porch. Saturday, I took out the pontoon boat and pulled my son around the lake on a knee board. Drank scotch, smoked cigars, and manned the grill for the 50+ guests at my sis-in-laws 50th birthday party. slept in Sunday, took my 8 year old daughter to her first week-long girl scout camp, and chilled out with a movie last night with the lovely wife. Got my ass kicked by my personal trainer this AM! not a bad weekend!

A very nice weekend at Strawberry Hot Springs in Colorado outside of Steamboat Springs (3 hour drive for me). Stayed at the caboose, no cell phone reception, no work, no cares, no nothing. Just relaxing in the hot springs and eating and drinking a lot. Unfortunately, it was cold out, which if we were the only ones there, wouldn't have mattered, but we had friends up staying too, and made for a bit worse of a time trying to get food made outside and too chilly to hang out outside, which is weird for June. Of course, Monday, the day we were to come back, was the nicest day, and was bright and sunny and warm. VERY sad to leave.

This weekend will be having yet ANOTHER house guest. This will be a friend of Carla's, and sadly we've never quite hit it off yet. Hopefully tonight will be different. We'll see.

This weekend is a long one but it's gonna be a mellow one. I plan to scour my apartment and steam clean my carpets. I will also take some time to step out to the beach with the Mooseman. Nice and mellow and restorative. It will be good.

That I am a slacker and my apartment needs cleaning. I didn't even make the bed AGAIN today. I need to get back into my routine. :P

This weekend I will be doing as little as possible, trying to recover from last weekend.

I WAS hoping to do a bit of Pantheon number-crunching......(fingers and toes crossed, there's still time!)

Lolling about today. We may go into DC tonight to see the fireworks from my firm's rooftop, if the skies don't open (there's a 50-50 chance of scattered thundershowers tonight). Tomorrow and Sunday, Magickmaker is working and I'll be running errands and housecleaning (ugh).

Saw a documentary on Hunter S. Thompson yesterday and had friends over for BBQ and Wii and blowing stuff up. Today, after I finish work, I will be going to another BBQ at a friend's house. Can I tell how I'm kinda over BBQ now please?

Blowing stuff up?

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing

This was my weekend, yesterday and today. I'm lounging. I went and got a betta yesterday. Today I have to stop being lazy and take my bike to the bike shop; it's not switching gears(I'm hoping that its just that the chain popped...). Oh yeah, and I'm gonna go get myself a slurpee!

The actual weekend, I'll be working. Its the grand opening of the PetSmart I'm working at!
I live in my own little world...but its okay, they know me here!

That's funny. I went and got a worse.

Good luck with the grand opening. Hope you endure well.
