Thanks, I have started a bit early. I figure turning thirty merits a certain amount of indulgence.

Thank you everybody, I'm feeling really good about turning 30, my sister flipped out when she hit it, but I think it's great, probably because nothing has started to sag or wrinkle yet, and I've managed to stay in a size 4. When all that changes, I may lose some optimism, but right now I feel like. . . . . . .

Happy Birthday to the first and to Sarge's brother! My wife turns 30 later this month. She's actually pretty comfortable with it as well. It's an interesting contrast, 'cause one of her friends turned 30 late last year and did not handle it very well (sounds like the reaction that the first's sister had).

I've never understood flipping out when you turned 30. I didn't flip out when I tured 40, either.

I reflected at 25, and 33 and 1/3. I suspect I'll do the same in a couple of years at 50. But flip out? Nah...

I...I just couldn't bring myself to type out "L-rd Foul" after saying "Happy Birthday." Nothing against our L-rd Foul. But...something instinctive just rebelled as I attempted to type it.
