You know, I'd like to get this cleared up. Granted, Melirelle was created by and lives under the protection of the deity who has sworn my destruction, no matter that he doesn't think I should mind the type of destruction he has in mind. And she is and has done all that I've said, and spurned my overture to a good relationship.
But if I'm misunderstanding something about fiends, I'd like to know about it. Fiends has the distinction of being both a race and a domain. Perhaps it should be explained a little more. Norn is the Goddess of Magic and Fate; she is not the Goddess of the Fey. O-gon-cho is the Goddess of Air and Light; she is not the Goddess of Dragons. Melirelle is the Goddess of Fiends, Birth, Chaos, and Earth; she is not the Goddess of Yekiths.
The question is what fiends are, when talking about the domain. I don't see how it matters that there are members of the race of fiends among all of our followers, any more than it matters that there may be humans, dragons, and fey among Melirelle's followers. Melirelle has chosen to be the Goddess of the domain of Fiends. So what does that mean?

Unlike most other races of Eiran, fiends are not native of the world itself. It is likely the fiends now on Eiran could descend from the fiends who first entered Eiran during the First Age, either those affiliated with Morgath or those who weren't affiliated with any particular god. Even though the fiends now on Eiran, for the most part, have lived on the world for generations, they are still considered outsiders to Eiran, and have a particular link to divinity that other races lack. This is what gives them their magics, and the reason why individuals of particularly greater power among them are able sometimes to ascend to divinity without external influences.
Nevertheless, the race of fiends is rather widespread now, and as consequence, while fiends aren't particularly loved by other races - their appearance alone, as well as their mysterious origins, makes sure of that - they can, and often do, worship non-evil deities. "Fiends" is perhaps a misnomer at this point, but calling them "daemons" would have still caused the same trouble, even though the original definition of "daemon" has little to do with evil.
In any case, the reason why there is a Fiends domain while there is no other race-related domain is exactly because of this unique link fiends have with divinity, AND because of the fact they are outsiders to the world of Eiran. It is possible that either the Fiends domain will disappear at some point in the future, once fiends become a native race (if it will ever happen), or that sometime in the future, domains linked to the various races of Eiran might slowly appear.

Speaking of Melirelle, how do we contact her regarding supposed actions of her followers, or requests we may have within her domains? On the Game thread where our descriptions and contact links are posted all it says for her is NPC, no contact information listed at all.
I attempted to contact her via an email to the AllFather, but I have no idea if it was passed on.

Nice origin of the race of fiends. Good to know.
But for the domain... All the other domains are centered around something specific - usually, either a particular attitude toward/way of life, or an aspect of reality - even if that thing is either somewhat undefined, or broad. But fiends is not centered around anything? It's... what... fiends who might seem to follow any other domain, but they don't want to worship that domain's deity?

O-gon-cho: Melirelle is a non-player character (NPC), meaning that the character is not controlled by a player but the GM. As such, any interaction with Melirelle should be through Xar, who is responsible for the actions of both she and Hedra Iren, the other NPC.

Consider it as a relic from Morgath's time. He was the God of Fiends because almost all fiends followed him, and now the domain of Fiends has outlived him. In this context, then, it means all fiends who do not worship another deity, even if they don't actively worship the holder of the Fiends domain.

It's always easier being a blind arbiter of Justice.
"Fiends? Kill 'em."

I just received a request from another player who would like to join the game. He created an interesting deity based, among other things, on the domain of Chaos. Currently, Melirelle holds this domain; I proposed the player alternate domains to choose from, but should he decide that the only valid one for that backstory is Chaos, would you be amenable to a little ret-con in which Melirelle, when she assumed Earth, abandoned Chaos instead of Vengeance, thus making it available for him?

That works. I always preffered her with Vengance. It's a good coupling with Malice for an ally.

Chaotic good or chaotic evil?
I have no problem with this, unless of course things work out bad and then you don't mind US doing a little timetravel as well?????

Yeah, it only happened this last turn. It can't change things that much. Probably not even noticably. I can't see a problem. And as Balon said, Vengeance is a better fit with Malice anyway.

I have no problem with that. Another member of the family is always good.

Will we be able to invoke the pattern and trump cards of Amber to counteract any chaotic problems this generates?
Sure, I have no problem with the switch.
