Oh man, there are some nasty choices. I'd choose diarrhea for a week on the condition that I don't have too much of an upset stomach (because I can set my conditions, right?

). Chronic heartburn for a few hours is bad enough.
To do lists: electronic or paper?

I'm old school on this one.
Paper is my choice to list things because it is easier to access and correct/change things. (IMO)
Easier to just whip out a piece of paper from my pocket to read, verses pulling out my phone, turning it on, scroll down to my list, then open the app to read.
Luxury car or sports car for a quiet country drive?

Luxury car. Sports cars look cool, but don't tend to be very comfortable, at least in my limited experience.
Stand out in a crowd, or blend in?

In general, I do what I can to help. To varying degrees...
If you disagree with your neighbour, do you let them know, or just let it go?

Mostly let it slide ... not worth getting neighbours offside.
But I did show them our combined property boundaries when one neighbour mistakenly thought our land theres.
iPhone or android

I've had both kinds.

Classic rock or modern rock?

by Skyweir
Oooh this is a tricky one ... can I like both depending on the rock

, the rockers and my individual need, mood and penchant of the moment but I favour the classics.
Cuz my generation ... dont we all love the music we were raised with?

Buy lottery tickets or take a chance on yourself

That's a loss either way. I'm far too pessimistic to be a gambler. But I will buy ONE lottery ticket for the fantasy and whatnot.

Morgage - Rent is more, plus you can pay off a morgage.
Hanging out at a friend's place, or going out somewhere with friends?

by Cagliostro
That's a toughie. Probably more often, hang out at friend's place, but I find I have to go out now again to remember why I don't enjoy it anymore. Although sometimes I do, because I'm a paradox.
African or European swallows?

Thanksgiving at home or a giant extended family affair ... or get together with just friends
Yes I know luckies ... there are THREE choices

Posted: Wed Nov 06, 2019 6:14 am
by StevieG
We don't do Thanksgiving (actually I know very little about it) being a uninformed Aussie

but if we extend that to, say, Christmas, we generally have a reasonably large family affair. It has been a bit smaller in the last couple of years due to family "issues", but generally it's big!
Do you prefer your current situation in life, or are you yearning for a change?

by Cagliostro
I think a reboot of life would be nice, but maybe just moving to another state (or country) and working a different job would be good. As my nearly last friend at my current workplace is nearly leaving, this has become a hollow place to work. There are still a couple good people left, but mostly I feel on edge A LOT. Thing is, there are a ton of jobs that I would have at minimum an hour commute each day, but currently I have a 10 minute commute, and can pick up the kids from school, so I like it. But that is starting not to matter because I am decidedly not happy.
Anyway, ninjas or pirates?

Pirates
For no other reason than I love talk like a pirate day and have my very own awesome pirate costume

Do you prefer to be .... Impetuous or strictly scheduled?
Posted: Wed Nov 13, 2019 2:41 am
by Sorus
Strictly scheduled. Do not frak with my routine. Also, I think we're going to need to see the pirate costume.
Time travel or faster-than-light travel?
Posted: Thu Nov 14, 2019 8:29 am
by Skyweir
Travel faster than the speed of light ... acknowledging current theory suggests nothing can go faster than light

and time travel lies also in the realm fantasy

yet out of the two fantasies. I dont really want to go back in time and I dont think I am courageous enough to go into the future

... but I would be up for inter stellar travel
Ok so ... mmm.. another choice

guitar or piano .. to play and listen to
