A platypus, because they're cute and unrealistic

- although I've seen them in my real life country...
This has probably been done before but: cats or dogs?

Dogs all the way! [sorry Sorus

]
Which is the most annoying?
1. Going to motor vehicle department
2. having accident prone day- spill milk all over floor, while trying to clean that up drop remote down under couch, while getting that remote hit head on end table - you know one of THOSE days....

The accident-prone day is definitely more annoying.
Though I avoid going to the DMV just as much as anyone.
I'm afraid I may have posted this before, but my impressions of the DMV have been like the (recent ones) of my friend who made this:
www.whatmightycontests.com/2013/08/a-visit-to-dmv.html
Hmmm.
Which has been more frustrating:
Having to make other people do work when they don't want to.
Traveling by a method you are unfamiliar with.

Having to make other people do work when they don't want to. As owner of a small business, and coming from that perspective - that is much more frustrating, although most of the people we employ are good guys and gals, thankfully...
So, chocolate mud cake, or red velvet?
Posted: Fri Jan 31, 2020 5:58 pm
by Sorus
Chocolate. Not a huge fan of red velvet. On the rare occasion I crave cream cheese, it's still not my first choice. Local bakery does a chocolate muffin with cream cheese baked into the middle. Now I want chocolate.
New album from your favorite band, or new book from your favorite author?

I have too many albums as it is, so I will choose a new book.
Work days or nights?
Posted: Wed Feb 05, 2020 6:40 am
by StevieG
I'd like to give nights a go, but I reckon it'd be very hard work. I'll probably stick to days.
Left or Right? (interpret as you see fit - politically, personally, whether you are left or right-handed, etc)

Right, because I hate to be wrong.
Eat in or Dine out for a birthday?
Posted: Thu Feb 06, 2020 11:38 am
by StevieG
Tricky one! Eat in is great, if there's lots of people around. Dine out is also great because there's no preparation. I'll go with dine out - eat something I normally don't eat, which is exciting.
Big night out, or quiet night in?

Quiet night in for the win!!
New book engrossment, or the next episode in your binge?

New book. I have a backlog of stuff to watch, but I keep rereading books because nothing new has caught my eye recently.
Your favorite band playing their new album live, or your favorite band playing one of their older albums live?
Posted: Tue Feb 11, 2020 7:49 am
by StevieG
Ooooh, that's another tricky one. It depends on whether I like the new album

but I don't mind hearing new stuff from my favourite band. Then again, it's nice to hear the old stuff in there too.
Earthquake or Flood?

by deer of the dawn
Floods are gross. Dead things, poop, chemicals... I'll take the earthquake.
Wildfire, or the Golden Buzzer?
Posted: Mon Feb 17, 2020 6:00 am
by StevieG
No idea what a golden buzzer is, but it surely is better than a wildfire?
Hat, or cap?

We have platypus in the river

when you come visit ... Ill take you platypus spotting
Cap realistically cuz its my go to
Shoes or bare feet?
Posted: Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:41 pm
by Sorus
Generally shoes. I would like to walk barefoot through a meadow with nothing pokey, bitey, or icky (technical terms, those) underfoot. In the city, shoes at all times. Indoors, socks.
Watch a sunrise or watch a sunset?

by Skyweir
Classic Sorus

... with nothing pokey, bitey or icky
Mmm... both are beautiful

Ill go sunset though cuz more kinda sweet and romantic lol

and we have spectacular sunsets ... a great accompaniment to a BBQ anywhere, but especially on the beach with friends
Fly or drive long distances (not over sea

)
Posted: Fri Feb 28, 2020 6:28 am
by StevieG
Fly, mainly because I live on an Island

but I like driving long distances too - more for a leisurely activity. If I NEED to get somewhere, then flying it has to be.
Fiction or non-fiction?

Totally FICTION100 percent ... you can keep reality ... Im an escapist at heart
Large crowds or small groups
Posted: Fri Feb 28, 2020 7:49 am
by StevieG
Tricky! I love being in large crowds - at, say, a Queen concert (or Tool

) where people have a common interest. We can all talk shit together. It's not so much fun in large crowds when people are just trying to get from A to B. Small groups are probably more fun in general because you can have a proper conversation. I want to get to that stage in life where I can have a dinner party every weekend (yeah, I know!). So, small groups is the answer to that choice
Ironing or washing up?
