I'm back on the computer today as I am back at work now.
The wedding was loverly, and as soon as we sift through the photos, I'll post a few around.
Vegas was fun and I am sad to be back. I could have easily spent another week. My legs are ready to fall off though.
We certainly did some gambling. Overall, I'd say I won about $100, but lost about $40. I would have broken even if it wasn't for one machine in Circus Circus. It was oversized with a big oversized handle to pull back. I put $1 in, and ended up winning $60. It was especially exciting because it was a machine that didn't print out a little slip that you take to an ATM-like machine and get the money back - it was one of the old style that drops big dollar coins. I got a bucket and collected them all, and brought them to a cashier to turn them into a manageable currency. Very exciting. As someone who doesn't gamble much, I consider it a happy thing. Still, considering how much we spent to stay and for food, the casino won.

Which is of course exactly what they are designed to do (and do very well.) All you can do is enjoy the ride. Interestingly enough the movie Casino was on last night. You didn't get your fingers hammered on, did you?

No, that was our legs. From all the walking. And annoyingly enough, after the wedding, we hopped on the bus as we were not finding taxis. The bus took 1 1/2 for us to get halfway to our destination. We gave us and walked over to the monorail to get home, but the monorail runs back behind all of the casinos, which means about a 10-15 minute walk to get to it, and another one of those to get back to where we can access where we were staying (which involved walking through the edges of two casinos, taking a tram, then walking through half the casino we were staying in to get to the elevator, then the walk to the room). Death.

Got my sister and family arriving son (3 under 10yo's). Am resigned to lots of broken things around house :D !

Hoping to take them to the 'Dragonfly Maze' later, which is a kind of treasure hunt/maze thing designed by Kit Williams ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kit_Williams ) which i suspect of being extremely cool!

Sounds like fun, Stone.

If you're a shutterbug at all, I would love to see pictures of the maze!

I went to a jazz concert tonight with a friend. And then we had dinner. And then I went to get cat food. And I just finished paperwork that had to be in by midnight (the computer system at work was wonky for the last two days). That was my evening. :D
