Well, to be honest, I was going to comment on that, but then my comment on your comment about my comment would have been a poor comment on your poor commentary on my poor comment.

I'm feeling great this morning! Son of SeaReach has actually spent the last two nights NOT coughing. This is wonderful (considering he's had a persistant cough for about two months which was always worse at night). Whether it's the antibiotics working or not I don't care...but at the moment he seems to be on the mend! I actually didn't have to get up once last night to check on him and I ended up sleeping through the whole night! BLISS! :D

Good news!
I had my final eye exam and all is well.
It's not even diabetic related!
yeah!!
The fluid that is causing the blurryness should go away by itself, which it's starting to.
If it comes back frequently then I'll need to make some choices though.

On a side note the yellow dye I was injected with has turned my urine a BRIGHT yellow!
Mt Dew anyone?

That is good news! :) And as for the yellow dye...reminds me of the first time I drank a Lo-Carb Monster Energy Drink.  I was so surprised I nearly called my doctor's office.

I'm still very tired today...still a bit dehydrated from being so sick last weekend. But at least I'm able to eat small meals now, and I will have a nice and peaceful day here at home. :) When I get offline, I will build a big fire so the cats and my elderly dog can bask near the hearth on this, a snowy and cold winter day. :) And then I will spend the afternoon alternating between snuggling with my pets and paying the bills. :) Peaceful, relaxing...nothing as relaxing as snuggling with warm purry cats. :)

Oh, and my older son got a letter in the mail yesterday offering him early admission at one of the top ten architecture schools in the US (at Ball State University in Indiana). :) He has until the end of the month to make up his mind on that. :) They said he was one of their top applicants for the year. :) Maybe all of that work he and I put into his portfolio (he did the work, I helped him print out the photos he picked on my little photo printer and them mount the photos in the portfolio) paid off after all. 8)

Mild headache all day. Nothing I haven't had before - usually when I stay in bed after waking up the first time.

Oh, a wedding! Eat and drink lots for me! :D

I'm feeling very full at the moment. Some food from this local Southern cooking place. Had a bit of spaghetti, hashbrown casserole, sweet potato souffle (slowly becoming my favorite food ever). Delish!

Thanks everyone!
I appreciate it.

Dennis, from one diabetic to another, if your urine smells sweet that means you have shit for blood sugar control!!!

i'm bottling it.

HLT: i have cut out everything the dietician said to. i follow the script she gave me. i take my meds morning and night. i exercise 5 out of seven days. (work interferes with Wed and we usually have a meeting some other night) so i'm not sure what is going on. my fasting blood sugar is averaging 145 (down from 190) the med is increasing in dosage at some point this month.

alos this morning, when testing my blood sugar level i manage to gash myself with the damn needle on my thumb. damn thing won't close.

Sorry.
You're doing better than me!!!
:D

Sweet smelling urine is usually one of the first signs of poor control due to passing so much sugar and usually goes away as soon as you gain control.
You just must be a sweet guy.

Tired...spent all day cleaning the house. Son of Seareach's Grandma from Ireland arrives tomorrow :Help: I thought I'd at least try to fool her into thinking I run an organised household. But as part of the process I accidentally vacumed up my son's favourite spider (who he visits every morning and yells "SPIDAH" at). OOPS!
