Well on the one hand, the Gap is much more graphic than that scene in LFB. The first time I read it I barely noticed it.

On the other, I stand by my opinion that the Gap books are SRD's best writing.

The Chrons are more emotional, but the Gap, well, the Gap is Dark & Hungry, that's what it is. :D

Cord Hurn wrote:"The Tor" is the correct answer. Congratulations, Avatar, it's your question!
Damn. ;)

OK...

When Havelock burned the 4-armed furry creature alive in Lebbick's cell, Terisa fainted in the dungeon. When she woke up, who was she afraid was standing over her, and who was actually standing over her?

If I remember correctly she was afraid Eremis was standing over her but it was actually Master Quillon (if not Quillon I have another guess but I don't want to grab two guesses for price of one :) )

Eremis is correct, but Quillon is not...guess again. :D

Hmmm well I am stuck I will have to ponder it some more. I think I have one more guess but let me try and remember better. I could have swore it was either Quillon or Barsonage :(

Well my next guess is Adept Havelock. He knew a lot about tunnels/passageways and always seeming to pop up in unexpected places.

Sorry, still not. :D Perhaps it will help to mention that while she fainted in the dungeon, she woke up in her own quarters...

Hmm wow I have a bad memory 8O

I will make one more stab then pass a possible answer to someone else because I am stumped after this guess.

She was afraid it was Eremis but it was actually Artagel.

Nope, sorry. :D

Anybody else?

Or another guess? Who would be likely to be in Terisa's quarters?

Gart is who Terisa is afraid is standing over her, and Geraden is who is actually standing over her.

Well, we already established that Sam was right in that it was Eremis Terisa feared would be there. However, although he was close by, it was not Geraden's visage to which she awoke... :D

Who else might (legitimately) be in Terisa's quarters?

OK, I was trying not to jump in, but I guess I'll have to say it was everybody's favorite chambermaid, Sadith. She was taking a break from trying to seduce Gereden, if I remember correctly (so, yes, he was pretty close by as well...)

Saddith it was.

Other than Imagery and the generally medieval level of societal advancement, most of what Terisa found in Mordant pretty much aligned to things in our world. However, there was one crop/grain that was a complete unknown. What is it?

Damn...I remember the scene, but no way I can get the name without looking it up. :D

Anyone else?

Correct! (I was about to comment on something related, but realized it could actually make a good question on its own...)

Your question...

IrrationalSanity, I thank you! :7up:
The new question is:
What was the name for the disguise Prince Kragen used when he visited Orison's outdoor bazaar and met with Nyle?

If I remember correctly he was disguised as a harlequin (but I am remembering somrthing about stilts - so harlequin on stilits to be more precise?)
