If I hadn't been logging off in a hurry to get to sleep I'd've remembered to say I looked at individual fights again just before the last boss and you were showing about 400 dps higher than earlier on. Like I said at the time, it's not that it was low, it's that it looked lower than I usually see from you. Your damage has been competitive in raids.
Edit: Couldn't help having a look since you were asking, and just want to add one little piece of advice, and that's that I've heard that 1 talent point in Go For The Throat is very good for pet dps. You could probably pull the point from Entrapment.

Query: I have a Chrys/Elan Naxx run on my calendar for today, and a Storm/Amoreesa run for Saturday. Would I be right thinking these'll be for different saves?
(I'd be happy to bring Timkins on Saturday, if that's the case, but with the crossover in the invites I thought I should clear it up.)

Different saves, yes. We haven't had enough to do 25s, so we're trying two 10s this week. Or one, depending on how many are already saved. Should have enough for two since most have alts.
Though at this time, we have 10 DPS and one healer signed up, so maybe not.
Moved Raest to 'out' as I am 99% certain he's locked and we're trying to get an accurate count on tanks and healers, if he is not locked we will certainly need a tank.
If anyone else is locked or wants their invite on another name, please let me know.
If any of that didn't make sense it's because I've been adding and editing to avoid double or triple posting.

By the way, what are AD's loot rules for 10-man? I think I remember you saying one-epic-per-night for 25 man, but I'd think it'd have to be different for 10 (higher drops to players ratio).

It's basically the same; everyone gets an item before people start getting second rolls.
If an item drops that no one else wants, you'll get it even if you've already gotten something because we don't DE upgrades. If multiple people who have already won something are the only ones that want an item they will roll against each other.
Class-unique items such as sigils do not count towards rolls. Tier pieces do count.

Do you go back to the bottom of the queue if you get a second item because noone else wants?
That is, if you get a second drop before everyone's had one, do you then have to wait for everyone else to have had two before you can roll on things again? (I could see someone spending the whole night getting defaulted and being unable to roll, in this situation, so I'm not sure how good an idea it would be - the person still gets loot, but not the pieces there's competition for. Not that I think the number of drops climbs so high.)

If it's something that someone who hasn't gotten anything wants you wouldn't be able to roll. For things that no one else wants, like I said, we try not to DE anything. Most of us don't need much there, which is why we tried to progress to 25s; we DE'd a lot on the last few runs. Don't know who might be bringing alts and what they all might need. Probably going to have to switch some things around because we're short on tanks and still have only two healers signed up and too much DPS. It's Kelleta's decision, but she is very fair and also interested in seeing us get geared up.
More on the subject of getting geared up; when you have a moment, check out your character on
www.wow-heroes.com (that's directed at everyone).
A lot of us have good gear, but are not taking full advantage of it with gems and enchants and such.
The site rates your gear and offers suggestions of enchants suitable for your class. Also, it recommends instances based on difficulty level, and offers suggestions of where to go for gear upgrades.
Unfortunately a lot of the people that should be checking it out won't be reading this, but I'll talk with folks over the weekend. We need to get people on the guild site.

It's been in the message of the day or the info for weeks and Chrys is still the last person to have signed up.
Even less will do this one:
1) Go to
www.elitistjerks.com/forums.php
2) Find your class' Class Mechanics forum.
3) Find your spec's main thread.
4) Start reading.
Edit: May have to call off OS today, unless we're willing to PuG half a raid (I'd prefer not). Doubt we'd find enough willing and unsaved just from the pool of acquaintances online at the time.

I'd rather try later today or even tomorrow than PuG.
And good links, too. I know we have a couple of people who are running specs that might have been great a couple of patches ago, but could use a little work now. There were a lot of major changes not long ago, especially for healers and casters.

Apologies again for the raid cancel tonight. Our fearless leader was MIA due to bad storms in her area. I probably should have tried to get a group together, but with one healer and no tanks and only knowing the fights from a DPS perspective... No. I won't make any excuses. I should have tried to make it work, and if you want to blame someone, blame me. Kell couldn't help not being there, and she is not the only one capable of running a raid. I was frustrated because I didn't know what was going on, and kept hoping she would appear.
I'm not sure what we're doing next week. I will keep you posted as I find out. Hopefully most people will give us another chance.

Tell them to transfer to The Scryers.... unless they are Horde.
Dalaran is the server that Kaehln transfered from.
Don't worry about the raid, Sorus. Unless you have an extra computer, I'm out next weekend for raids.

Just FYI, the url
www.thewatchguild.ihugny.com will now work for reaching our index page. It still doesn't work without the www, however.

Thanks for understanding.
I know I let people down, and I know I'm losing people. Can't expect anyone to follow if I don't deliver.
This whole thing has been so stressful for both myself and Kelleta that I'm not really sure if either of us wants to continue.
I know a lot of people will not be available next weekend, so it would probably be a good time to take a break anyway.

It's not your fault at all, and I don't think you should let this put you off.
I'm working on my alts again, and I think I'm gonna switch Timkins over to Elan's raids and save Kysen's ID for other things, Elan has plenty of tanks. Trying to get more flexibility and make myself more available for this stuff.

Giving it another try tomorrow, 5:30PM server.
Know that won't work for some of you, but both teams have a lot out of town on the weekend.
Unless everything goes to hell we'll probably try again next Saturday.
I know that some of you have alliances with DO and may have already promised to go with them.
If you decide to go with us you will be expected to maintain loyalty to us as we do not have enough people to worry about who may or may not be locked with another group.
I am not looking to break up existing teams. I am stating it bluntly to avoid any potential misunderstandings. We have had too many people get geared up and then ditch us for larger raiding guilds and such. Not that I think anyone here would do that, but I am responsible for bringing in some problem people.
We are a raiding guild, and that's what we need to do to make it work. If anyone has a problem with that, no hard feelings.
If anyone has questions, please ask.

First .... HUGS!!
Second ... You did NOT let anyone down!! Shit happens ... not your fault! You have had many many MANY more successes than challenges. so don't let it get you down!
Third ... you and Kelleta need to
try to let go of the stress. No one holds coordination problems against either of you. And you both do an outstanding job. You've both more than earned the right to have some plans go awry!
Fourth ... you MUST continue ... we will not let you quit!
And lastly ... HUGS to both of you from all of us!

Thanks for the invite, Sorus, but Tuesday's are bad for me during the summer.
In June, if you are doing Thursday night events, I'm usually available to help.
Stuff happens, particularly around this time of year. Nothing to worry about, Sorus..
