That's I'll try.
Only add some grilled onion to it as well.

Ok all I tried the chicken fried bacon using this recipe:
www.recipezaar.com/recipe/print?id=156010
A couple of things to note. I did not have the necessary ingredients for the gravy so I dipped the results in ranch dressing, and I did not have "think cut" bacon, and I used vegetable oil instead of crisco.
It turned out pretty darned good, if a little heavy on the greasy richness. I think it would have definitely been better with a thicker cut of bacon, and the cream gravy. But quite tasty!

I'm thinking that this is gross but I bet before long I'd be using it like a baby uses a bottle eventually.....

O! M! G!
Get your bacon cooking.
Butter your bread, then spread liberally with cranberry sauce/jelly.
Slice some brie, and put a slice on top of each rasher for last 2 or 3 minutes of cooking.
Put it all together and bite into heaven!

It's sounds good but can you translate what a "rasher" is?
(I don't get out much)
And for some reason I want to add a very thinly sliced apple to that too.

"A
rasher of bacon"
Basically a slice of bacon or other strip of meat.
An alternate use defines it as two or three slices.

totally!

For some reason I would also add a bit of carefully roasted and chopped walnuts - just to add a nutty flavor and get a better texture.
Or maybe slices of pear instead of apple?
I could also imagine replacing the jelly with a good honey, slightly flavored with finely chopped thyme and rosemary. And maybe let the brie but from goatmilk.
I would enjoy it with a glass of Sauternes.

I'm liking these ideas! Maybe we need to move 'bacon sandwich' to the Simple to Spectacular thread?

That's just bizarre. I mean seriously -- prosciutto? Why not just roll up $100 bills and set them on fire?
