I want SNOW!
Moderator: Orlion
Environment Canada is predicting SNOWMAGEDDON over the next few days. Yes, they actually used that word.
We've already had to put up with way below normal December temperatures. I really don't need to see any more of the white stuff.
Wish I could send it in your direction, lurch. It'd be an interesting thing for you to photograph, I'm sure.

oh... if anyone wants to see a clip of Wes Welker making a snow angel after scoring a touchdown against the Arizona "Eeek! Snow!" Cardinals, during yesterday's snow storm,

As Mom would say... "We are buried."
For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.
Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.
Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

we havent had any snow down here yet in London but a few flickers in the air now, Scotland and Yorkshire badly hit with the snow .Murrin wrote:Coldest November in over 30 years, so I'm told. Foot high coating of it all over the place, and we don't normally get snow in November at all. Bringing things to a standstill.
Who would actually want this?

A lie well told and told often enough,I'm damned if the truth will ever catch up with it!

The girls have had some in Roanoke, but I haven't seen any flakes here yet, thank the gods. I'm still full up from last year's heaping helping.

That really sucks, Sarge. You guys could use the moisture.
I think I read that January is likely to be snowless for us, as well. Of course, that leaves February and March. We shall see...
