I think I still hold the record for waiting for an answer here on the Plains.
Talk to me in a month.

Patience is always rewarded in the Plains of Ra. Sometimes my esteemed self is involved with matters of entire
worlds, and unable to get away for a time.
dmMike7, Onbek will guard you against the unknown.
Prince of Amber, with a Ranyhyn's special abilities, Corwyn will make it even easier for you to travel through realities. (And, truly, what
did take you so long??

)
Unfettered One, you and Vryhyn will explore far and wide!

I am Honored, Onbek, Proud Ranyhyn! I hope that I may honor you as your rider. Hail the Tail of the Sky, Mane of the World!

Ah, now the Plains are just getting conceited.

Apparently the Plains have a bit more conceit than the unmodded.

To you all newly chosen, Verityn and I are so excited for you! I pray you all find the joy of companionship and pride in devotion to each other and for The Land as we have found. I truly desire that the Ranyhyn that have chosen you are as magnificent as Verityn, the most beautiful, the most devoted as Verityn, the most spectacular as Verityn...
Nope, it'll never happen though I can hope it for you.
There will never be a more perfect Ranyhyn than Verityn, the Ranyhyn that has chosen me.
I hope you all feel the honor to have been chosen.

Ahhhh, Dilly...
I rejoice you and Verityn have connected, for my 10 firelizards and I have traveled far and wide with Irian, the Ranyhyn which chose to journey with us. She is a wonder, with wisdom from The Plains of Ra, Pern, Earthsea, and Eiran held bound within her. Never have I been so blessed as with this wondrous mare...

Verityn? Sounds like something one takes for insomnia, or irregularity. Or is it baldness? I think I have a bottle on my shelf right now; I use it to treat my alzheimers, but I don't remember what it's for or even what it is I had that made my need it in the first place.....
Enjoy the horse, Dilly.

*lowers self to one knee and whistles*
Oh, great Ranyhyn, I humbly beseech ye to accept me as a rider and a servant of the Ranyhyn.

How exactly does one present oneself to the Ranyhyn to be chosen or denied? I can't whistle....

Then make your appeal a call or a song.
I am sure if a Ranyhyn will answer or no, Plains will let you know...

.... Like Prothall, I currently feel unworthy.
Eventually, maybe, I'll look for the approval of the Ranyhyn.
When I'm not so new to the site...

I would, but I'm not exactly which forum to post in. I figured I'd be just as well off in the great wide world of the general discussion forum.

A mad Skurj Lord who has gotten sick of eating dirt and living stuff has had a bath in Glimmermere, I have no hands, as such I cannot wistle, no spine, so if I bow my belly tooches the dirt.
My question: Does this get me a mount?
If so I wish it
