I'm really hoping to be able to crash with someone else. . . I can barely afford to buy a ticket in the first place. I'm depending on the kindness of Jenn and strangers.

Jenn just called me... mentioned something about stuffing me in the cargo area of a small biplane to Oregon (correctly pronounced or-EE-gone, btw) and from there, hiding in Plisskin's trunk and praying that he drives to San Fransisco at the appropriate time instead of the local organic foods Market.
Pliss, I don't know if you've been made aware of this plan or not, but I'll probably need to sleep in your car while we're in SF. No, it's cool- I'll protect it from hobos. Me and my trusty hobo-repellent stick, that is. I'll be cool.
I just have to determine whether or not my school is not in session that Saturday, and also make sure Plisskin is cool with my Tourette's and also doesn't think I smell. I'll send him a pair of my jeans or something.

My car is broken down, so this might delay my looking into hotel rooms for the present, as I was going to look into it today, dammit. That figures.
But the place I was thinking of, if the Hotel/Motel description is correct, it is a hotel. I wish I knew the name.

Due to annoying car problems, I still haven't been able to run by where I think will be the closest/cheapest place to stay, but I'll try to do that today after work. However, there is a Rock Band party scheduled for tonight, so I can't spend much time researching today. Monday I have the day off, and will be more than happy to check around where I live.

Okay, I drove by where a year ago used to be in the $30 range, but now seems to be advertising $42 a night. Which is unfortunate, but maybe still doable for some. It is just a couple miles away, and won't take more than 5 minutes to travel to my place. It is is Motel 6, and here is the info:

It doesn't look too scary. I'll look around for more on Monday when I have time to drive around and see what there is.
Carla says that there is a scary place nearby as well, but that it is...uhhh...scary. It's a Days Inn and I just looked them up and they are $67 a night. So screw that one. But here in the info for those who care:
