ok...Murrin is the closest to the answer i'm looking for so far...but no Murrin, that is effectively what the Preempt Act gave UMC, jurisdiction everywhere except on station...

maybe i should have asked it this way...how far from station did UMCP jurisdiction extend prior to the Preempt Act?

Actually, the Pre-empt gave them jurisdiction in station as well, not just up to it (it gave them the authority to preempt station security). And when I said the station jurisdictions, I was including the space around them controlled by station security, not just the station itself.

As for how far, I have no idea.
