There are lots of bumps on a road near our house. Caused by the tree roots of very old trees that are growing under the road and are close to the surface.

They're non-native trees, very shallow roots, and have been destructively invasive, in addition to making natural (and annoying) "speed bumps" in the road.

We call those bulb-outs. And they are super-annoying.
