I am at this moment working on fleshing out some of the system behind the game, because I'd left it very basic to start. I try not to rely too much on random disasters like in Pantheon, but the chance of them occuring will go up after these changes - in fact, I realised the chance of random things happening has been lower than intended so far because I'd left part of the list empty.

I'm also looking at how to make use of the dice roll system on action outcomes. I must stress that I'm only thinking on it, because it doesn't seem right to randomly determine outcomes when you have the Faith system to give strength to your actions, and Faith wasn't designed to work with die rolls. Nothing may come of it.

Once this work is complete I'll start on processing the turn.

Busy busy busy. Lots of stuff to sort out for my new place, so the game is kinda on the back burner. I'll work on it when I can.

Actually, that was the site hanging while I tried to post.

I'm not Fist, after all.

Yeah, I know. Hence the wink. I was getting the 500 server error at the same time. I've learned that usually my post goes through when I get that, so I don't try reposting until I can refresh the page and double check.

Working working working. The good news is there'll be slightly more random happenings to make events more interesting in future turns. The bad news is there'll be slightly more random happenings to make events more interesting in future turns.

I'm almost ready to process the current turn. Sorry to keep you all waiting.

Okay, I think I've fixed the system now. Just sat down and totally rearranged the new stuff into something that works.

Turn results tomorrow.

Goatkiller, I'm going to be nice to you and ignore that you mixed up east and west in your turn submission. ;)

I'd liek to take a moment to remind players of what a Direct action means. This is what is written in the rules about it:
- Direct Action:
Through Direct actions, you personally interact with your followers and the world. The forms an idol can take are many – in one turn, your presence might descend upon a stone idol and grant small blessings to followers who touch it; in the next, you might appear to someone in need and grant them some small boon. For an idol residing bodily upon the earth, these would be the feats accomplished in that physical form. There are few limits to how a god might present itself to the faithful – your limits are defined by your own natures.

In your Direct presence some small miracles are possible, but you cannot match the feats achieved through Divine action. What you can accomplish, however, will increase as your Faith grows. You may perform only a single Direct action each turn.
Essentially, it is a direct action upon the world taken by your character - your god/idol - and can be miraculous in nature. It also costs no Faith to carry out such an action. Please bear this in mind when creating your turns - I have had submissions where either no Direct action was taken, or where the "direct" action only listed another action taken by followers - something I consider a Command.

I can now confirm that all the stuff I spent time adding and changing in the game, has had no effect whatsoever on the upcoming turn.

Sorry to cause more delay, but results will likely arrive tomorrow now. There are some more detailed bits I need to write up for certain players.

I've now finished everything except written email results. Some long pieces in there that will take me a while to get right.
