Just had a chocolate aero. Was meant to be a mint one but I got the wrong colour by accident. Why do they even sell non-mint ones..?

Bastards...

Aero bars amuse me...the only time I've ever seen them was when I went to Canada, since Americans apparently don't find anything appealing about air-bubble filled chocolate. I think it's just a clever ploy to put less chocolate in chocolate bars and trick people into thinking it's delicious...

Unsalted peanuts from the shell. Not as bad as they sound.

I was about to be disgusted by your chicken-flavored crisps. Then I remembered our Chikkin-in-a-Biskit conversation and restrained myself. When I was in London, they had just come out with Roast-Lamb-and-Mint-Sauce flavor and Roast-Beef-With-Mustard flavor crisps. Do they still have those?

I am eating nothing at the moment, but I am greatly anticipating pouring Tobasco sauce on the contents of a bag of reduced-fat kettle-fried "crisps" at lunchtime.

I don't think so. I have a vague recollection of them. I suspect they were for a special occasion of some kind.

Now eating: Cornish pasty

Roast Chicken is a perfectly normal flavour for crisps - they usually come in multipacks with Smokey Bacon, Beef and Onion, and Barbecue flavour.
I remember seing adverts for those unusual flavours you mention - wasn't very long ago, but I don't know about how long they were out for. At least they weren't as bad as Branston Pickle flavour.

Just finished some savoury eggs. Might have some Micro-Chips later.

Savoury eggs? I am intrigued. I wonder if it's anything like a scramble....

"Branston Pickle" flavor sounds a little unnerving. I think I'll stick with putting Tobasco on plain crisps.

Savoury eggs are a small amount of chopped egg wrapped in sausage meat covered in breadcrumbs - the alternative is a 'scotch egg', which is a whole hard-boiled egg in meat and breadcrumbs.

I'm chewing my fingernails. Seriously. I'm so hungry, though, but it's like 4:15am and I don't want to wake the rest of the house up *grimace* maybe I should just sleep...

Will soon be eating some American-sized fettuccine alfredo from local restaurant Country Gentleman. Translation: Will soon be eating a buttload of pasta.

Yes we have the lamb-and-mint and beef-and-mustard crisps. They're delicious.

There's also honey roast ham, chicken and thyme and a couple of others. They taste just like what they're meant to, instead of the usual flavours that taste like the things would taste if they'd been squashed, injected with all sorts of rubbish and crunched into little particles then thrown pver crisps.

Red and black licorice bites. What a way to wake up. (It was on my desk, and I'm too sleepy to go hunting for something.)

I now have a mental image of a sleepy Dragonlily picking up her bow and arrow and going off to the woods to hunt for her breakfast. ;)
