Drew, you ROCK! And Creator, you get brownie points... :P

OK... let me think here...

When TC was travelling to Revelstone, he met the giant Saltheart Foamfollower. Foamfollower was also going to Revelstone. What was his business there?

Finally! One that I know!

Foamfollower was serving as a legate from his people - Damelon Giantfriend's prophecy of the birth of 3 sons had occured, signifying an end to their time in the Land.

I answered this earlier today but my post isn't showing up - Foamfollower was on his way to tell the Council that Damelon Giantfriend's prophecy had come to pass. Three sons had been born of one birth, signalling an end to their stay in the Land.

Well, I'd say six. But bearing in mind that the last Covenant novel is going to be called The Last Dark... I think you might be onto something there.

Hmmm... it says "Sheriff Lytton posted after me but I can't see the post... Creator-damned board bugs... BY THE SEVEN!!!

**edit**

After I posted, your answers all appeared! Melenkurion Abatha! This is Despite at work.

Great Job dlbpharmd and Warmark! You got the answer right!! Whoohoooo!!!

OK... next question...

What sort of creatures attacked Covenant and Foamfollower in the bosque of the Ruinwash, and what happened to them?

They were ur-viles..and didn't they burn to death?

Posted: Sun Mar 06, 2005 11:05 am
by MrKABC
Nope... BZZZZZZZZZZ...

The ur-viles attacked Covenant and Foamfollower in the valley of the thorns. It wasn't clear what happened to the attackers since Covenant and Foamfollower escaped into the mud pits.

Covenant and Foamfollower had already left the bosque of the Ruinwash by that point....

They were some species of Ape, and they were burned/electrocuted by electric eels in the water when they tried to cross the river.

I second what Man of Westernesse said, but hey MRKABC that was one hell of a question - something not everyone would have remembered due to it being sandwiched by two huge events IE. the staff being destroyed and the aid provided by the Jherrin (think this is how you spell it - mud people).
Brownie points must go to MRKABC for the question!

Oh, and glad to see this thread going again :!: :!:

Even if it is riddled with computer "venom"

Kevin Son of Ireland, and Man of Westernesse...

YOU ARE RIGHT!!!! :P :P :P

It was a "band of ape-like creatures" that jumped into the Ruinwash and were destroyed. GREAT JOB!!!!

Along that same vein... what name did Lord Foul (and his minions) assign to Saltheart Foamfollower? (other than "groveler")
