Actually, the thing I liked about Game of Thrones and the first half of the second book was the characterizations. I've never gotten a stronger feel for the characters in any book I've ever read. I was emotionally attached to them.Lord Mhoram wrote:I don't care about any of the characters, since I got not depth out of any of them. With ASoIaF, you become extremely emotionally attached to a lot of the main characters. Or at least I have.
Unfortunately, I just didn't care about any other aspect of the books.

I bought MoI at B&N several weeks ago.Lord Mhoram wrote:Also, it didn't help that at the time that I read Deadhouse, there was no version of Memories of Ice in print in the US. Is this still the case?

I can't take any credit for that - Edge fixed it for me.Menolly wrote:Yeah, Es...
At least Ms. Mary came up with a way to use both her Edgetar and Jaytar.

Don't give away my soft and mild manered alter ego
A cuddly Edgetar might just break me completely!

Like I didn't already know that?

You do realize that I was terrified of getting involved in a debate with you when I first came to the Watch? It wasn't until you initially posted in the Galley about the aliantha sorbet that I stopped feeling that way...
