Hehe, no need to blush.
Looks like I'll have to add Boston to my list of places I must visit when I'm in the US.

DEFINITELY. Baked beans, broiled scrod, and drinks at a
lovely little piano bar are on me.

So they
say.
Maybe it's time for a New England ElohimScrodbake.

Though it's good fried, too....

Well I really wanna. Dad's exhibition will hopefully visit New York, which isn't too far away, so I'm sure I could make a side trip.

Do you live in Boston-proper, Myste? I live on the North Shore myself.

vs,
When you come to Boston I'm
sure your favorite thing will be the T. Easily the nation's best subway systems.

More or less--I'm in Somerville, on Winter Hill. (Boston in-joke alert) I don't have a gang yet, but I've only been here a year or so...give me time...

I will be a ruler like no other. Whitey's got
nuthin on me. (end alert)
I like the North Shore a lot...it's definitely where I'd like to head when I'm ready to give up city living.

Myste,
Ah Somerville. Very cool, I know where that is (obviously).

VS, when will you be in New York? Because we're having a get-together in New York in August.

Would love it if you could drop in!!!

When in August ? And who - is this a general thing for KevinsWatch members ?
I will just happen to be in NY during the week before and after the 13th (though not on the 13th, I will be at my 20 year high school reunion in NH).

Depends on when my father's exhibition starts touring. No dates as yet, although I hoping to be there around October. Otherwise I'll just have to start saving for my own trip.

Since your talking side trips, the Mountain is beautiful in October, so plan on hopping a plane to Oregon too, Luke

We would love to have you visit.
We could get Joy to come over from Portland too.

I'm nursing a geriatric cat. She can't be left for that long.
Sorry

One day last week one of my kids was home sick with a GI problem. At the time I thought maybe he had eaten something a bit off at the school cafeteria.

Well, it must have been a tummy bug, because he has passed it on to me. This morning found me running a fever and having GI problems. I am about to call in to work for tonight then head for bed with some tylenol and a big glass of water. Luckily it was a 24 hour thing for my kiddo, hopefully will turn out to be the same for me.

Well my father lives a few hours journey inland from Santa Barbara, so Oregon isn't too far away.

VS,I hope you are able to go visit Furls (and Dragonlily, too!!). I am sure spending time in her home would be a delight. I have never been able to venture out to the Pacific Northwest, but from everything I have heard, it is absolutely gorgeous.
I am feeling much better today, but my husband and my other kid are sick instead.
To cheer myself up, I am thinking of my long weekend, which will be in 18 days. We have rented a cabin in the mountains down in Kentucky at a beautiful state park called Cumberland Falls. Can't wait!
