In the very last scene with Angus, he reminded me of Hopkins playing Hanibal Lector--not the rest of the series, just that one scene.

yeah...i know what you mean...that quality of menace that Hopkins displays as Lecter. but he's too old of course...
Angus is a special casting problem because he's such a larger than life character.

james gandolfini would be great as angus. ive thought it for ages.(he is tony in the sopranoes, in case you didnt know)

Duchovny looks exactly as i imagine nick to be but could he come across as being tough enough and being able to intimidate the way nick can.
if only tom berenger was a little younger.

Ron Jeremy is STILL like THE Angus. He might need additional acting lessons though. Of course he would be able to put up the best performance in the non censored version

I think his biggest break in mainstream was as bad guy in an episode of A-Team
But I'll see if I can find a filmography.

I should add that R Jeremy was studying for a masters in education, so he's a very smart man. And he can act - I've seen him in other films.
