OK Heads up y'all!!!
I sincerely hope Dukkha's ok, but it looks like we're all going to have to get together and cover for him. Too bad really, because Aid and Betrayal is custom made for a Waynhim. So this is what we do when we have a late emergency and the next 'dissector' is ready to go:

I'm 2/3rd through the chapter right now and will post a general outline of it within about 3 hours from now. I've asked dlb to read up and respond after I do so, to get things going and to iron out any format questions that arise. The format is 'round-table' which means that I'm basically coming in with a quick analysis of the chapter itself-I won't pretend to know what exactly happened before-except for maybe a caesure...

Then it's up to all of us to help fill in the gaps for a thorough dissection. I've asked Don to PM some of our top posters here to help-so hopefully it just won't be us mods yaking back and forth. Actually Dromond and I did before this on an IEW chapter-it turned out to be alot of fun, even if I did have reservations...

Damn! I was all ready for this one as per request. What an awesome chapter...and now I'll be gone by the time it's up. Ah well.

OK, now we're back on track, and I've sent reminder PMs to Kastenessen and Nerdanel about their upcoming dissections.

Don't know what happened, I was writing the dissection and it took me three hours, and when I posted it I had to sign in and all was lost! Sigh...The hour is late and I do it again tomorrow, I have it in my head now so i'll probably write it quicker tomorrow...

Kast, that's happened to me before - try writing it as a Word document, then cut and paste into the post, then submit. You can go back and edit anything you want at that time. I'll help you with it if you.

Chapter 9 is on it's way, coming soon, late tonight I hope...

I've PM'd Nerdanel about the current dissection.

No word from Nerdanel about the current dissection. I'm going to PM dukkhawaynhim, since he offered to fill in after missing his dissection a few weeks ago. If he can't, then I'll try to throw something together in a few days.

(Nerdanel shows up in the "visited in the last 24 hours"... so I think that she is around.)

I saw that, but she has not answered my PMs.

DukkhaWaynhim will be filling in for Nerdanel's dissection, and expects to have it posted by Friday.

Too bad Nerdanel won't be doing a chapter after all. No offense to all the other excellent dissectors here, but I had really been looking forward to Nerdanel's turn at the helm.
