Well, that's a better offer than the one you made me for Harrison!

Some hope! Thanks to Carson Palmer flatlining against NE I've finally won my second game. My QB is finally getting better-funny how Delhomme's success is corallary to Smith's health. My WRs are starting to move as is one of my RBs, Thomas Jones--somebody warned me about Edge and AZ's thin red line...oh well--time to bring down the mighty Leviathan this coming weekend!!!!!

My oh my...you're getting a bit ahead of yourself there, Danlo.

I got a fight on my hands to win this week going on with tonight's game that is my immediate concern. I refuse to look ahead to a weaker opponent 'til I take care of the business at hand & take down the commish.

A weaker opponent? You'll see...the commish just got you and so will I. :P

Damm the Yahoo prognosticators!! They're cursing me! For the last two weeks I've been projected to win and, of course, I've lost two in a row. I guess they're using same pipedream I used to be in: thinking that the Broncos will somehow score more than 13 points, Rivers will throw the ball more to Gates and that, somehow, Arizona's crappy front four will pop huge holes for James. I tell you I'm almost ready to trade half my team away!!! :-x

"Team Leviathan...you just won the fantasy world championship...where are you going to go?"

"I'm going to Disney World!!!"

OK, I may be a bit ahead of myself...but I am so ready! We are leaving Saturday night, driving through 'til Sunday morning and hopefully arriving in Orlando somewhere around 8 am or so.

We are coming back the following Friday evening, so I am not going to miss setting my line-ups up.

After planning this trip months in advance, it seemed like it would never get here...

Ya know...I was checking out my draft way back when, and I only have 5 players left on my team that I originally drafted. I knew that I had made wholesale changes from my original draft, but had no idea that I had made that many moves.

Something must be working right, though...huh?

Quick poll--to gunslinger at least. This is, like, the make or break game of the season for me--Injured WRs is coming at me with 3 really hot receivers: Boldin, Smith & Brown. I'm starting Coles but which 2 do I pick out of Walker, Wayne & Toomer? Both Toomer and Wayne haven't been getting the ball lately, but Toomer has a history of doing well against Dallas. Walker is always good for 70 yds, but Plummer's been a putz and it may rain.

I'm getting humiliated this year--I can't figure it out and there's nothing on the waiver wire to pick up: I felt trapped--so I dropped 6 of my players and am ready to trade away the rest. I started a Fantasy Basketball league today and got a damm good team in the draft-D. Wade, V. Carter, C. Anthony, M. Finley, Shaq, C. Webb, B. Gordon. Unfortunately my boys from NM: D. Granger and K. Thomas are on the bench right now. 8)

I think I'm down to 4 or 5 originals myself.....I think the preseason rankings this year were the worst I've ever seen. I don't think I started my drafted defences or QBs after week 1; I did get good WR's, though.

Gee buddy...Sory I didn't see your post! I hoped you stared Wayne and Toomer!!

Should of started Toomer for Coles-damm that was a bust!! Anyway he killed me with Crumpler and Dillion--and Pitt's D absolutely fell apart :-x

What a crappy weekend. LT kicked my butt in both of my leagues!

Well, I know how you feel John--I was doing just fine until Carolina's special teams and Delhomme decided to have a meltdown last night. My team's basically on autopilot the rest of the season. But, I could be on a 3 game winning streak in my other league-I'm down 50-51 but Brady is going against no one tonight and next week's opponent features Bledsoe at QB and two main positions on the bye ( I guess he gave up...).

Fantasy Basketball starts today, it's a hell of a lot tougher than I thought: you really have to know what you're doing-it's an insanely complicated science and you can't keep people on injury out of it because the season's so damm long...My two drafts were fairly so-so, so, we'll see how it goes. (I drafted an all star team on one-but that doesn't necessarily mean jack...)

I'm down in the other league 133 - 171. LT scored 72 points for him - I don't recall ever seeing anyone score that many points in a game before in this league and I've been in it 5 years. My slim hopes rest on Chester Taylor having a big game like last week. Another 95 yard TD run wouldn't hurt. ;)

My buddy talked to me yesterday about joining a basketball league. I didn't realize the season started tomorrow. I haven't been following it, so I suggested we start up a late starter league next week.

I guess the trick is to pick guys who can put up good stats across the board. It doesn't help to get a pure scorer, like Carmelo Anthony for example. If you can get Arenas in the 1st round do it! If you're the 1st or 2nd pick take LeBron or Marion.
