I thought I should find out what all the fuss is about. I'm quite enjoying it so far; I think my favourite song from this album at the moment is 'Children of the Sea'. I'm slightly amused by 'Lady Evil' though - the opening bass riff sounds the same as the one in '9 to 5' by Dolly Parton.
That album exactly fits the sound I have in my head of what classic metal should sound like.

Currently parts of the soundtrack of Matrix: Reloaded, the mixes of orchestration and Juno Reactor's techno beats. Exciting stuff. Before that: This Dying Soul by Dream Theater and Caught In A Mosh by Anthrax. Oh Yeah.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
The Climax Blues Band? That's a blast from the past.
Haven't thought about them in a long time.
Atlanta Rhythym Section: Doraville & Champagne Jam

I pretty much agree. Can't get much more 'classic metal' than this album.
Heh, yeah. A friend of mine is going to Toronto in a couple of weeks, and Doro's playing while he's there. He's so overjoyed at the chance to see her live that he almost punched me in the head when I said I'd never heard anything of hers. So I decided to remedy the situation. So far, so...ok. *shrug* Average-ish 80s rock.
Again. This amuses me every time I listen to it. The first song has a lyrical gem of a chorus: "All we are, all we are, we are, we are all, all we need." And on the album's best song, I Rule the Ruins, Doro seems to have a speech impediment and sounds like she's singing "I woo the wombs".
Hell Is For Heroes - The Neon Handshake. Ace Album.
