Maybe... just maybe you can come across GildenFire as a stand alone book, as I did.
It was with no other stories and the cover is the same as Fist & Faith's avatar.
Since I don't own Daughter of Regals, I didn't even know that G-F was in that until I read it here on The Watch.

I bought the stand-alone copy of Gilden-Fire. And good news. . . I found my copy of IW when I was packing. I was able to read up until the part when (Runnik?) returns from the mission to Seareach. . . so I think I'll be in great shape to read G-F when I get home (posting from a friend's home). :)

I read G-F. . . if you want to see my reaction, I posted about it on the G-F thread. :)

surrender, just don't LURK!! LURKING IS BAD!!! Jump in, unless politics and moderated opinions really turn you on, stay out of the 'Tank for a bit, first timers sometime freak out in the 'Tank. God knows I did, but Avatar will let ya know if things get a little TOO far out of whack......

'Tank?!) i jump in all the time im just sitting back and observing the surroundings and the people in it before i dive in head first! if you go to my website you will see exactly what im talking about!!!!! actually its pretty crazy but im a traveller and i dove head into the Hurricane Katrina Relief, along with feeding the homeless here in canada all the time! im totally a people person so dont worry about that, in time you will see and probably not.. understand the real surrender!

Arrival at Kevin's Watch

by Eric Dale Eubanks
Someone new on Kevin's Watch -- that'd be me.

Let's hope no students at the Loresraat were harmed in my translation!

More specific info can be found at MySpace -- see links in my signature.

But just a little -- have been stuck on these books since '77. Perhaps one identifies a bit too much with TC, that whole reader-empathy thing, but life can imitate art -- long struggle with Despite refines the soul! And reveals that Despite does not have to win. Which is really what I'm all about.

Love the books. But I'm sure you gather that.

I will be consulting forums, but just for larfs:

ANY CONTACT INFO FOR Revelstone Entertainment or its principals {Mark Gordon, John Orloff, etc.} will be deeply appreciated! As a professional actor since 1980, I've been fortunate enough to play all my dream roles [DRACULA 3 times, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA in a non-musical version bearing more resemblance to THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS than Andrew Lloyd Webber, THE ELEPHANT MAN, etc.] except one -- that of TC himself. But would be honored to portray ANY of the supporting characters {one could do a lot worse than Lord Mhoram or Hile Troy, after all. Or Foamfollwer.}. The trick is finding where to submit materials.

Look forward to getting my "this is what these books mean to me" jollies here, sharing attempts at artwork, etc.

And getting to know people [hallelujah!] to whom I don't have to EXPLAIN THE CHRONICLES in all particulars just to bring them up!
