I just watched all the episodes of yacht rock and now I have Steely Dan's "No Static" stuck in my head....

I feel oh so tired! Spend most of my morning at the hopsital with my grandparents, thankfully for a false alarm. Then to work which was tedious.
So glad to be home at last and relaxing. I may even get to finally watch the new Lost episode if I am lucky!

Well, bummer.

Anyway, that's way too early to speculate on whether I'll visit Washington or not
Heh...it's never too early for me to start putting money aside in the hopes of meeting more Watchers. It just disappears in spite of my best intentions.
I hope it happens, and that you have a terrific time and tell us all about it!Xar wrote:In the meantime, I'll focus on London (and maybe see if some English Watchers are around)

I am feeling much better, today. I was frustrated and tired yesterday but today has started off well. It helped that I have a nice sleep, too.
Work's nice and relaxing, so I might just "take it easy."

Sorry to hear that your son and his girlfriend broke up. I assume that he was estranged from his wife.
But on the other hand, congrats on another grandbubbie!

I don't think she ever said she was happy. If you look at the figures, they are spinning around. I think I read elsewhere she is nursing a hangover, and so I take it that she is dizzy and the world is spinning around...only better than what we are seeing from the figures.

sorry about the bad news, sarge.
glad to hear you are doing well, sea!
has anyone heard from thefirst? i've been worrying about her with the storms. i'm sure she is good, but just wondering about her.
i am injured and off from work today and tomorrow. and as much as i hate work, i'd rather be there than be hurt.

I did not chat with her, but I saw her on my Messenger user list earlier today. I am sure things are hectic, but it appears she at least has access.KiGirl wrote:has anyone heard from thefirst? i've been worrying about her with the storms. i'm sure she is good, but just wondering about her.

Are you OK overall?

How did you get hurt KiGirl?
For me, I feel pretty good just now! For the first time I used some of that "Just for Men" Beard coloring jazz for my alarming increasing rate of gray growth in my van dyke (?) and now I look Maaaarvelous.

Cowboy: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ... I don't.

Well, that best describes me last night. Things were spinning--but I was enjoying it.Cagliostro wrote:I don't think she ever said she was happy. If you look at the figures, they are spinning around. Today however: well, I've been suffering from depression the last couple of weeks. I get down regularly (I admit that. It's just part of who I am) but this time it was a doozy and I was starting to worry about myself. The issues are too personal to talk about but two days ago I decided to face some fears and address some issues. A heartfelt conversation or two later and... Well, I thought I was going to be shot down in flames and instead....
All is wonderful!!!
Thanks for asking, Lore.

day two of crappy cold. *sniff*
