Hmmmm ... seeing that cousin Jove's creative process starts with her CONSUMPTION and then transformation ... does that mean her followers will look for treasures .... to come from her ....

:haha:

Yes, Asta, I AM the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Glad to see that all of the talk of destruction hasn't made you loose your sense of humor. *bows*

On another note, Undine and Vadhaka, do you have any prohpets? Your prophets names are italicized, and I'm having trouble remembering whos prophets got killed.

I'm updating my spreadsheet. :D

Yes I have a prophet, he was called Min-q and now he's a river and waterfall on Thellarr called 'The Tears of Undine'.

( :!: at least that's what I think happened...)

Nice stories!
Vadhaka wrote:
The Return Of The Gods – The Creation of a New World

....
Later myths claiming that Vadhaka Chora created the world himself from the entrails of the first Deity that he assassinated have been declared false by the Church, and denied by our Lord himself.

But I REALLY liked that imagery!!

Ok not in the mood AT ALL for serious theological discussion, so a light-hearted entry into the contest is imminent.....

:::bowing head:::

My tale, as told to the weyrling Raucous at the feet of his aging uncle, most recent in a long line of dragonic shamans, is told. I hope you can follow my rambings and forgive the seriousness of the tone.

I admit frankly that I had serious help. When I did all I could, I had the wordsmith in my family look it over. Paul took a heavy hand to vocabulary, sentence structure, and cohesiveness. Then, I asked Jenn to read it, and she agreed. The tale is basically shared because of her encouragement for me to do so once she read it.

Even with all this help, this is my story as I wanted to tell it. AllFather, thank you for this challenge. As one who has always looked down upon her own work, and eventually stopped even trying, I surprised myself by deciding to take this on. But the past 10 days or so have been a joy as I have reread many of the different teachings from various spiritual paths I have investigated over the years to draw on for Senex's teachings.

I know this tale does not strictly fit the rules. Yet, no matter how the voting goes, I have already won by learning from the experience that perhaps I'm not quite as bad a writer as I have always thought, and just maybe, I have a smidgen of imagination somewhere buried deep inside.

Thank you...

We'll have no more of this 'I can't write/can't play RPG' stuff from you please! You've proved yourself wrong many times already, and I'm glad you've started to realize it!!!
