all night long. urg. i stayed home from work today.
soooo nice to be in my apartment all alone in the quiet.

well...nearly quiet. Raymond keeps coming out of the closet
and hollering at me.
You know what he's saying, right? "What are you doing?! Home at this hour, and parked in my napping place!"

I have reached for one three times in the last 1/2 hour-thank gods they're none in the house-it may be time to get the laundry moving while I catch up with all the LOST I missed last Thrusday. (It's a lot easier to stay away while visiting two non-smoking relatives and traveling than it is bopping around in your own houz-I've always smoked outside, but it's too cold today anyway. Ay yi!)

I feel sleep deprived. I had insomnia for a couple of hours last night. . . I was laying in bed awake for 2.5 hours, knowing I needed to sleep, but unable to stop my mind turning in circles. It was horrible. . . I know I was still awake at 1:00, and needed to get up at 5:30am. Le sigh. . .

On the bright side, I only have to work for 2 more hours. :D

I was still awake at 1 AM!

I think.

What day was yesterday? :P

Have fun not killing anyone (in a fit of rage at their displays of incompetence) at work. :P

Ever since I started having migraines my motor skills become impaired when I a)have a migraine or b)get overly tired. This means that instead of killing people for their imcompetence I have to ennunciate very clearly, as my speech can become garbled quite easily. :?

Staring at the ceiling, and wishing my dog didn't snore so loudly.

Yes, but unlike you, I can kill my dog for snoring. :P

(Yes. Bask in the wonderment that is the UNlogic of my post.)

Damelon- How much snow did you guys get? It sounded like southern WI/ northen IL got 12-15 inches in spots. Nasty storm. We missed most of it up here, only got an inch or so.

Lucimay - hope you feel better.

Thefirst - glad to hear you're ok.
Ki, always cracks me up, Damelon, sorry about the snow,
Luc, I hope your cold goes away, and MR, thanks for being concerned,

I agree that it is easy while visiting non-smoking relatives, but difficult on the ride home from said relatives. Good luck, Danlo! And if you've not already, feel free to post in the quitting smoking thread. It's been a boost for me so far to have nice folks wish you the best.

I can't believe how many people are quitting right now on the Watch. And to the rest of you who are still smoking.....Meh...do it when you're ready. But if we can add any peer pressure to you (maybe that's how you got into it in the first place), then we'll do our part. Enjoy it while you can, while it is still legal and while you can still afford it. I can't help but feel like I'm letting David Sedaris down when he signed my audio book of his with "Never quit" with a picture of a cigarette. He had all smokers come up to the front first for the signing if they could prove they smoke. He said, "I've got to take care of my people." I'm no longer one of his people.

:sigh:
