Okay.

Once per round (meaning for one other contestant, given the assumption that their other vote would have been for self and would aggregate to cancel out every other contestant's self-vote) or once across all rounds?

Just in case it is the latter, I am reserving my vote until this is clarified!

You might enjoy it. Much darker and more emotional in tone than one's regular Disney shows, and contains an entirely adult cast. A few glances at the characters and the major-ish canon ship should easily reveal why I squeal over it. :P

Be sure to vote before you leave home, Frostheart!

Anyway, while it may look suspicious on my part, I will cast my vote for SD's story about Dudley Dooright and Horse. My reason? I love the creativity in linking Horse to Kelenbhrabanal! In my opinion, that was the most creative move of the bunch.

I hope everyone is ok for this week-old user to vote. I truly enjoyed each submission, and had fun reading through the entire thread.

Ebony's use of Bhair and Bsquare for Hair Bear and Square Bear was outstanding.

Menolly's depiction of Taz as a spinning Sandgorgon was spot on and had me grinning.

Not to take anything away from the other candidates' submissions:

Please vote for TWO. Each of your two votes counts the same.

Only moments remain to vote for the Survivor that you think has won this contest.

It's time to Announce the Winners of Round 1
  • Image
Here is how I tally the votes:
  • aliantha: 2
  • ebony_squire: 2
  • Effaeldm: 3
  • Menolly: 6
  • Savor Dam: 4
The answers to the Staff of Immunity Question were posted a few days back. Here is how I tally the Survivors' answers:
  • aliantha: 1 correct
  • ebony_squire: 0 correct (no pm)
  • Effaeldm: 0 correct
  • Menolly: 0 correct (no pm)
  • Savor Dam: 1 correct
So the winner of the Staff of Immunity is:
Spoiler
Tie between aliantha and Savor Dam!
All of which means that the following person has been voted off of the island:
Spoiler
ebony_squire!
That Survivor walks away with total winnings in cash and prizes of: 1 WGD.

The other four Survivors will stay to compete in round 2.

(Yes, it was a tie for least votes, but aliantha was saved by a tie for the Staff of Immunity.)

(I myself voted for Taz, which happens to be my wife's nickname, and also for Dudley's horse, who is a noble beast.)
