Wow, didn't this thread just take a rock and roll turn?
I used to enjoy regularly, but this changed dramatically when kids came along. I also work in an industry where random testing applies and so I err on the side of caution.
If it is in the cookie form, it is best done in the safety of your own home! I remember sleeping long and deep.....

Serves you right for having kids.
Thankfully random testing is not a thing here in SA. Also, my boss is an ex-stoner, and more than half of the people in the office smoke regularly.

We often club together to do a bulk buy and get a better price.

I've never liked the smell of that smoke and didn't like the effects the last time I inhaled. I had the bed spins. I've avoided it ever since.

Depends on the strain etc. as well. Good quality smells a lot better.

That said, it's generally the effect that counts.

Now as we proceed past the cookies and move onto bucket bongs, (that's what they do with the leftover leaf isn't it?) I challenge you to present me with anything as precious, painful, crappy, corny, funny, uncomfortable, shameful, shocking, did I say funny?, embarrassing, and awkward as the Eurovision competition.
I sat and watched some with my mum on mothers day, and the look on her face was worth it. Head shaking and hiding in hands, she "had" to keep popping up for a peak, and kept watching.
It is consistent at least!

Not something we're inflicted with thankfully.
(Use your leftover leaves etc. to make cannabutter...basically like Ghee but psychoactive.

Once ate a pretty large lump of hash as the police battered down the door of a cottage I was in - probably around a half ounce I'd guess. Got successively more stoned over the next few hours, lasted about six I'd guess - then slept for twelve and woke up fresh as a daisy.
Some of you may have noticed that I'm pretty interested in the Brexit negotiations that are ongoing at present, (just a bit Peter

), but what gets my goat a little bit is how many people, having voted for this monumental change..........have now completely lost interest in it. I get it every day in the shop - people who were fired up leavers who now complain every time there is a Brexit related headline in the papers. "I wish they'd just get on with it; I'm fed up with it!", they say, having themselves brought about the most risky situation that we have faced for decades and that they themselves will not have to suffer the consequence of, but will be bourn by our children and grandchildren in the years to come.
But let's speak the unpalatable truth here. In reality, for most people Brexit was about one thing and one thing only (and Farage was right): Immigration. They knew little and understood even less about the complex and integral relationship we had formed with our EU partners over the decades and no effort was made by either side to explain just how hard this would be to unpick. It was all about "Get those b******s out!", and now the results of their xenophobic racism are coming home to roost they have lost interest. Shame on them.

Hardly surprising though really. People's attention spans are not geared toward such long-term enterprises.
(I love the taste of hash...I like to put it in my coffee.

Peter! That must have been like trying to eat half a mars bar in one bite! I bet the police were not happy you didn't share! So before the long sleep, anything you remember which comes up? Maybe something like 9 apple pies for munchies? Did any animals come calling for a chat?

Hash reminds me of a Maori haka... That's another story.
Brexit is looming more like a lesson than an exit. The wheel turns in a democracy. Don't mean to sound cute, but there is a constantly changing pool of voters everywhere nowadays and established ties are not representative of a majority in most places anymore. There will be a "disruptor" in it somewhere for someone to make a financial advantage out of it, and the old will be new again.
I like being closer to home this week. The fireplace is nice.

That sounds like an interesting story.

By fireplace I mean combustion woodburner.
Still there is a fire to be maintained, and they can get dirty with the ash which comes out of them, however I prefer it over the dry heat from reverse cycle.
It's Vivaldi time. I am home the rest of this week and have the house to myself. I have seen enough news for one day, and am off up the back shed.
Toorah, have a good one.

The back shed, as opposed to the wood shed, is the man cave. I thought I cleaned it up..... I just didn't do a very good job on the cleaning front.
I do tend to like it in the shed. I can be manly there!
