Somebody tried to wire $550.00 from my checking account and buy a $400 watch with my atm card number (I still have the card on my person)......not a happy camper atm.

Sorry to hear about that Lorelei. You do get a lot of scum who do that these days, sadly.
Tired. Off to Florida at 2 am tonight, and I have so much to do it's mind-boggling. I really shouldn't be at work right now. Heh, or at least doing some work instead of checking on threads here. Well, see y'all next week!

Having a great day. The kids are gone for part of the weekend and my hub and I actaully have two days and a night to ourselves.
It's the first time in a bit over a year we have a had a night to ourselves. And I do not know how many years we had a night to ourselves before that one.
I'm about to go to the store and buy fixings for a very fine dinner. I have already bought the sangria and fresh fruit, along with three gourmet cheeses. I am going to cook him a wonderful dinner Spoiler

So everyone Lore and I feel GREAT this morning! And thanks for the suggestion Dan...you're right...we should really get a room. Doing it out in the middle of that oval probably wasn't a good idea Lore!
Just started on the new drugs. Apparently it'll be 6-8 weeks before the painkilling effects kick in, and in the mean time the tiny blue pills just put me to sleep the moment I take them. Makes getting up for work tricky.

Jeez, I hope you are alright, Cov.
I am very happy! I have reached the 100 page mark of my novel. I have attempted three novels in the past, and none have reached 50 pages. Cause for celebration.

And I've got a little boo-boo head, but another cup of coffee and a half hour on the elliptical will fix that.

What a morning! I've worked my butt off and now I'm filled with such a sense of accomplishment. So I'm listening to LOUD music, dancing around the room with my "audience" (of books, and my Runes of the Earth poster) watching, and thinking "Good on you Seareach!" Such moments are few and far between so I'm going to relish every second of it!
Thought to pop in briefly as it's been a while.....
2006 has sucked. Financially and emotionally. So, I sit here hemorrhaging from a knife wound in my back (a real Et tu, Brute! moment) trying to get my mind off of......life?
Just a few comments and then I'll be on my way......
Luke, congratulations on your new daughter. Alice Ann is a lovely name!
Ur-bane, hope your dog is doing well. One of mine has seizures too, but not nearly that bad.
