I'm killing agapanthus which makes me feel good. It might be leafy and it might have large flowers and it may need very little water (always a bonus in drought situations) but it must DIE!

Yeah, it's considered a noxious weed here but you'd be amazed the amount of people who plant them in their garden.
They have this trippy root system--it goes on forever and EVERYWHERE...and then...well, you can cut it up and it still keeps growing.
KILL KILL KILL I say!

Went to bed too early, got up to soon. I thought the point of Sunday mornings was sleeping late, oh well. As I'm awake, with nothing else to do at the moment, I'm checking in with my fellow watchers. Hope you're all having a good weekend.

Good morning, thefirst!
Today I am...anticipating.
Awaiting results to the two games I am playing and
awaiting the final results for the Watchies.
Then...I'll post the results of the Foodies.

Other than the anticipation?
Same old, same old.

And you?

No complaints, waiting for my mini-me to get home. Went out and played with my new camera a bit this morning. Took a picture of our downtown area, which is sad because you can see the entire thing from our porch

I feel terrible. I stayed up waaay too late last night, and it was my turn to get up with my son this morning. At 7:30 am. Needless to say I've been a zombie.
Although, a funny thing happened while I was making his applesauce. I sprinkled some cinnamon in it and stirred it up. Then fed it to him. After, I realized that none of the cinnamon ended up in his applesauce at all. It ended up all over my shirt.
Yes you can laugh now, kthx.

Wish I could be there to lend you a hand! My touch is instant death to plants. When I have a bad die, I like to run through the lawn & garden center at Lowes with my hands out saying, "Die, die, die!"

I'm tired. All that driving I did took a lot more out of me than I thought. I am still looking forward to going to my folk dance group tonight, though.
And I feel sad cause my husband is going out of town on business for the week.
Again!

That evoked a great visual image!!
But DUCK! Do come to my house! The agapanthus is a pain to dig out. I need your touch!!!
And Ms Mary, if you lived near me I'd say "come over and visit" as my partner is off on business for the week too!
