If the hand has more reason than your head, then I will be most pleased to discuss recent events.

I had been perfectly content not discussing anything with you, and I had hoped it would stay that way forever. We had a non-aggression pact, of sorts, initiated by you, and that was all the contact I hoped I would have with you. But, gosh darn it, there's that pesky business about you having invaded my lands, stolen my children, and scattered your Houka throughout my Forests. Even if you hadn't revealed that the fate of the stolen children was quite possibly death or enslavement, even if you didn't cause the mutations in the first place, and even if you aren't spreading the plague among my people, how you can expect civil discourse between us is beyond me. How you can do what you have done to me, then expect me to embrace your "glorious" plan for Eiran is incomprehensible. Sure, Nor, let's be pals! Brewskies are on me!

Edit (wasn't clear): I did not cause the plague and I am not causing mutations in other lands.

Wrong on both counts.
:!: So you did and you are??

I'm so confused...

(Forgive me please...it seems I am an irreverent deity. I cannot resist :poke: even when I know I should not. Please ignore me. )

As I said, even if you didn't do those things, you did invade me, steal my children, and your Houka are scattered throughout my Forests. Malice is, indeed, defined as I had assumed in the first place. If you wish to no longer hear from me - and few things would please me more than never having any contact with you again - you need simply do what you have promised: leave my lands, and never return. If you keep the children you have kidnapped, the picture you have painted of yourself becomes even more clear in the eyes of all. Alas, I have no elite strike team to attempt a rescue of them, so they will have to remain in your ca... No, not "care." Anyway, they will have to remain with you.

You need not even reply to this. Simply do as you have promised, and we need never speak again.

The children are mine. My valid reports stated your followers were killing the children. Therefore, they were of no use to you. I don't care that you don't believe me, but know I acted upon what was told to me. Second, my barge transports are leaving your coast as we speak - with my followers and the Houka. Your lands have not been affected by the plague. I am not in control of the plague.

You will not believe me, but I ask you to await next year to see if I deceive you.

If you are not in control of it, it is unclear how you can know my lands have not been affected by it. Your followers could be carriers, whether you know it or not. (Even whether you like it or not.) However, if my followers never get it, all will know yours did not infect mine. And if mine do get it, each of our divine siblings will have to decide for themselves whether or not they believe you when, doubtless, you will then say, "It was an accident."

But for now, I look forward to seeing your followers' asses recede over the seas. Kindly keep them away from my lands forever.

Bhakti:

My warships are patrolling your coastline. Tell your worshippers to stay in their trees.

Anyone wishing to leave magran for lankir will be allowed to do so unmolested.

Perhaps my people will be able to sail anywhere they wish if your people are in the grip of a sexual frenzy, the likes of which has never been seen before. Perhaps my people will simply board your ships and throw your preoccupied followers overboard to cool off. (Lifeboats lowered, of course. We wouldn't want anyone to drown.) Then we sail where we will.

My sailors have just chopped their bits off ;)

I'm telling you - you are going nowhere! except out of magran!

Undine, am I right in observing that you claim Mangran, even though Bhakti's preachers arrived well before yours, simply because it is an island?

Also, thank you for leaving Landir Nor Yekith. In the future I suggest that if our followers do something that you find distasteful that you speak with the deity concerned before invading their lands.

There is a little bit more to this issue than the fact that magran is an island. *shrugs* I doubt if Bkapti will reveal his TREACHERY in public, but he may in private if you ask nicely and blow him a kiss.

My treachery? MY treachery?!?!? Many seem to think Love is weak, or blind, or stupid. Battles can be won with Love just as surely as they can be won by force. My money is on me, you Drip!

by I'm Murrin
I have devoted much of my time recently to deciding what should be done about the dead. As will all have gathered, the system of judgement I have set in place is not ideal. I have therefore been considering my options to improve it, and I have come to a decision.

My brethren, I shall grant you a gift. Each of you will, with consent, be granted the opportunity to retain the souls of certain of your worshippers after death, to do with as you wish. Obviously this cannot be allowed for every single follower, but should you have one of particular note that you wish to retain, for reward or for some special purpose, then you shall have the chance to do so. Your martyrs, saints, and prophets can be yours to reward after death.
I would ask that whenever possible you request this of me while the follower still lives, or it may prove impossible to convey the soul to you (as has unfortunately already occurred in one case).

I have, of course, been rather busy lately. I must admit I do not know anything about your "system of judgement." What are the criteria by which you judge the dead? And what are the possible consequences of judgement?

Nevertheless, I thank you for your offer. It seems most generous.

Also, I had planned to ask about this:
He Who Sits in Judgement Above All wrote:All the gods feel within their spirits the ghastly cries of inhuman suffering of several of the souls of their dead as they are consumed by Maeror.
Can you tell me what happened?
