it actually has rained a few times. the creek that emptied at work has come all the way back...

Good news for you! Good news for me as well... at the risk of attracting the universe's attention I'm happy about this winter's lack of snow.

now that i'ts been here for awhile, I want it to go away.
Got the power back for a while, drying whatever clothes I can and making food to last...

It's been snowing all afternoon. Kind of a cruddy way to start the weekend.

We had some messy stuff overnight -- a little snow, a little sleet, a little freezing rain. Nothing pretty, tho.

We got several inches snow yesterday and last night. Lovely and soft... I loved hearing the swissshhh of it off my shoes when I went traipsing around in it this evening.

Ooooh, Sarge - What a pretty picture. It's lovely. It would be nice to have a bit of that, but I have to admit that I would not want to live in it.

I am a native Floridian and would have NO idea how to cope with that stuff! The thought of driving in it absolutely terrifies me.
