At least it's under warranty.
If it was mine, it would have died a week after the warranty expired.
Mani, my dog, struck again. He chewed the electric cord to my printer. I had to get a new cord. Best Buy wanted to charge me $130 for a cord! When they had 20 of the exact model of printer lying stacked on the floor, selling for $85 a piece! They told me they can't keep all those separate printer parts around for sale. That's reasonable enough, but their solution...they can KMA.
I found the cord direct from HP, and ordered it online, for $25.

The Strangers came today. And it looks as though they came to stay. What is the world coming to? Homo Sapiens have outgrown their use.
I'm happy! Someone pulling a cart and covered in **** will be coming along real soon to hit me with a sap and toss me on the cart with all the other corpses.

...not too happy today...
g-ds damned stupid mrsa staph infections in the friggin public high schools...
Aspies do not like having skin cultures taken off of their elbows, let me tell you.
Nor being put on antibiotics and acidophilus capsules for 10 days, even if a weeping sore does get them out of school.
...argh...never had to deal with this in the charter schools...

Well, I moved in with Montressor today. So I am back in Brisbane. I am very sad, for I loved living in the country. At least I can visit my parents any time I want, however.

I am doing OK. Good news on my bro (most of know he has been a-battling the fickle and unforgiving mistress known as cancer)... his latest cranial MRI has shown continued shrinkage of the little friend that lives amongst his grey matter. An overwhelming majority of the tissue seems to be inactive, with the possible exception of one spot that they are going to keep an eye on.
His last full body scan showed nothing either.
This means that he has, at a MINIMUM, bought himself more time, and portends a possible even better outcome.
Now if i could just get rid of this cold....

Guns, glad to hear your bro is doing better. That is good news indeed.

I was coronated yesterday as I finally received my permanent crown (on my tooth). I am now king of my mouth.
Today I'm hurting a bit as I did some flexibility exercises on Sunday and hurt my back. Shows how flexible I am.
Also, I'm a bit gassy. And I've quit smoking for a day, and going strong today. So far.

I'm certainly one of them, so I'll be laying off. And I can't afford them right now anyway, so that's pretty much that.

I feel super dorky but high on retail therapy. I had ordered some Harry Potter sweatshirts off the Hot Topic site online and I got them in the mail over the weekend but they were just a smidge too snug so I decided to exchange them at the store in the mall. I exchanged them and then ended up giving in and getting a few t-shirts and another sweatshirt. I am currently snuggled up in my Dumbledore's Army sweatshirt right now. I also got some cute fingerless gloves and a soft and warm wooly wonderful scarf. I figure I can justify all this because I have to wear warm clothes to work and I have two hoodies that are way overdue for throwing out. I also got a super cute one that I won't wear to work, it's beige with black and pink leopard print, fuzzy with pink lining and cuffs and ruffle on the bottom and the hood has little pink ears on it. It also has a kitty skull and crossbones patch on the left front.

Yes, it's sickeningly cute. I am the uberdork!

Jenn, when I move to San Fran, can we go shopping together?
