Not only Florida, but Gator Town to boot. Where we know when to throw away faded orange shirts...
...damn I wish I was seeing you this weekend, Fenrir...

No problem. . . I wish I didn't have a horrible migraine on Saturday night. . . else I would have made it a priority to buttonhole you for a nice chat. I'm just glad I got a chance to meet everyone in person. I was telling a friend about it today, and started missing everyone all over again. Hope you have a fantastic time in Denver. . . and wherever your travels take you. I can't wait to see the pictures you take of the landscape while you're traveling. . . I will expect them in the photography thread!
Oh, and

Hey Caam, I'll get Cyn to fill you in. We're definitely going to the Grand Canyon.
So anyway, this is Sea reporting in from Denver. WE MADE IT! We're as rooted as hell (that'll teach us for staying up so late last night). The drive was one of those that seemed to go on and on forever and we were so glad to arrive. Only nearly died twice on the way (Cyn was sight seeing while driving and then the road started to sing--ya know, those ridges on the side of the road that are saying "HEY...YOU'RE DRIVING OFF THE FLIPPIN ROAD!" Then there was the Denver experience: we were going onto an off ramp and some maniac was coming up on one and did she give way to us...NO! Oh...and then there was the blind spot incident where Cyn didn't see the red car as she was changing lanes so...yeah...nearly died three times!
BUT, as I said to Cyn: we didn't die, and that's the important thing!
See ya tomorrow Caggles (I'll try to remember to pm you my mobile number).
This is Seareach out (and no one call me before 11am mountain time...checkout is not unitl 12pm here and I plan to SLEEP IN!)

morin' everyone!
So much for me sleeping in (I've been awake since 6.30am mountain time...bugger it!).
Seafest is officially in full swing. Aliantha, Danlo, Cov J & Jenn all arrived back at Luci and my room around 11pm last night and hung out here until after 1am. Danlo provided us with a nice bottle of Merlo and they even found me some ice (I like my Merlo with ice--strange but true!).
Aliantha is off to get Magicmaker this morning and then Menolly arrives midday I think.
Today, once everyone gets up, we're off to have bagels for breakfast. I could eat a horse right now! [Incidentally I still haven't had this biscuit and gravy thing you guys do but...urgh...it so doesn't look appertising!] Then it's shopping and other stuff before 3pm when we invade Cag's house.

Become one with the biscuits and gravy. Its a breakfast item, and you must experience it. Just don't think English biscuits at all. Southern bisuits are closer to English Muffins, except that they are entirely different (they are soft like cake, but with flaky buttery flavor]. Then you swaddle the whole affair in sausage gravy.
Not good for you - but oh, so good. Mmmmm....
[All dw had for breakfast was a protein shake - can you tell?]

<singing>
I'm sooooooooooo hungry...
soooooooooooooooo hungry...
so very VERY hungry....
I'm sooooooooooo hungry...
soooooooooooooooo hungry...
so very VERY hungry....
I want something I can munch.
And something I can crunch.
I haven't had my lunch [well...it's actually breakfast but that's beside the point]
I'm SO hungry!!!!!!!!
Oh, ok DW...I'll eat a bloody biscuit!!!!

Not a bloody biscuit! A gravy-y biscuit! (Although I prefer mine with jam. But I'm a Northerner, so my opinion doesn't count.)
*goes off to eat toasted biscuit with jam, gets burned for blasphemy*

Motel 6 coffee tastes like vomit wrapped in old linoleum and coated with poo.

You've actually consumed vomit wrapped in old linoleum and coated with poo?!

You poor thing. Hope there's a Starbucks (or whatever coffee shop you prefer) nearby or along your way.
