Dodging out repeatedly from behind cover, the half-elf rogue continued his slashing attacks on the undead wolves.

Dodging the flying hooves of Solana, Tänya is momentarily taken aback by the sudden appearance of Atrus at her side. Her flagging spirits rejuvenated at the sight of him, she steels herself and spins around, looking into the pit black emptiness of undeath reflected in the formerly liquid pools of love that were Solana's eyes.

A shell...
Not even; this abomination of my lovely is no more than an empty husk, driven to do the bidding of the evil one yonder.

Determination rising in her gut, Tänya grasps her quarterstaff with both hands, and drives it with all her might into the ground in front of herself, using the energy of the thrust to propel herself into a leaping vault on to the heaving side of the prone undead corpse of her friend. As she is in motion, she swings the staff up and around, adding the momentum from the vault into the force of the swing. The circuit of the swing causes the end of her staff to crash into the eye socket of what was once Solana, and Tänya releases her pent up anger, grief, and sorrow in an extended ululation as the unknown white light from her staff blazes forth.

I'm not exactly sure what all skill checks I will need here. I assume a jump check of some sort, perhaps in the form of HOP or a less than five foot long jump done without a running start but with a pole vault instead, and to stay balanced on top of Solana, even though she is prone, perhaps a ride check or even a balance check. Who knows? Maybe even one of my Perform checks might help...[/ooc]

[ooc]Paolo, I made my post like I would for Nathan's game, basically saying that "if he cannot reach with ray of frost he does not cast that and instead casts Magic Missile on the strange man."

Thonunian continues retreating from battle (one five-foot step away), and casts another Magic Missile on the man.

Jump on her and then hit her, using the momentum from the jump to add strength to the hit...

Once Renard's make-shift projectile is finished, he gives a nervous look over the pile he hides behind as cover, spotting the malign pale man. With a deep breath, he lights the oil, pivots out, and hurtles the flaming projectile at their enemy...!

Thonunain glances at Balpur

He may be a goblin, but... he has helped, and I do need some assistance here...

He yells to the newcomers, "Hey, Balpur, Arael! Do you mind taking on this wolf so that I can keep my spells going!?!"

Tänya jumps on the hip of Solana. She desperately hits her with her staff causing great wounds on the head of the animal. Solana is still reacting and try to stand up with Tanya on her, but she fails.

Renard prepare the oil flask. Now he's ready to throw it to the pale man.

Thonunian steps back carefully avoiding the attack of a wolf (5 foot steps no opportunity attack). He casts another magic missile to the man. The missile fly through the air to its target. The man moans in pain.

Atrus' moves 5 feet, then attack the wolf to the west. He hits the creature that fall to the ground disabled. The wolf to the east attack him with a bite that deal 6 damages.

Ahkash does a step to reach a new target, swinging his dagger hits the zombie wolf killing him (again).

The Strange Man starts to mutate! he grows while a brown fur appear on his skin. In a matter of second he became a brown bear!

"oh yes elf! fear not! i will take care of the wolf!"
Balpur try to hit the wolf, but he misses.

Arael shakes himself from the stupor, then he moves infront of the wolf and attack him. He hits with his sword wounding the animal.

Still balancing on the hip of her former companion, Tänya continues to focus her efforts upon her. If Solana remains prone, her attacks are effectively disabled...

Swinging her staff back up again and gritting her teeth as she prepares to once again batter the animated corpse of her friend, Tänya steps on to the barrel of the horse and propels the staff down on to the pisiform of Solana's front leg, between the radius and large metacarpal and splint bone, resulting in a satisfying crack as the bones smash to pieces beneath her.

With the wolves still focusing on the elven druid, the rogue continues his attack on the next closest target.

Thonunian's eyes widen

What the... a bear?!?! Crud... well, as long as it transforming doesn't heal him...

[ooc]Knowledge: Arcana to see if shape-shifting into something with more hit points heals you[/ooc]

Darn... he did get healed...

I need to free up the others to get to work on him...

Thonunian abandons his attacks on the man and starts casting Disrupt Undead on the wolves and Solana either until they are all dead or until he has used up all of his 0-level spells.

Tänya rise again her wepon, and crush it ono leg of the horse. The animal is still moving but it probably won't be able to stand up again.

Renard throw the oil flask on the bear and in a matter of seconds a big part of his fur catch on fire! The bear moan in pain!

Thonunian casts a little globe of energy toward the nearest wolf.

Atrus attacks the last wolf, disabling it.

Ahkash does a step to reach solana, swinging his dagger hits the zombie horse. It is now barely moving.

The bear looks now to Renard! He seems to have spotted him. He charges the bard and hit him with two mighty blows! he deals 10 damage, Renard fall to the ground.

Balpur and Arael kill the last wolf they are fighting.

Stupid ninny!

Atrus sprints towards the fallen bard. When he arrives, he will begin to attack the bear, attempting to draw it away from Renard.

Add on:
the bear fur is still on fire

"Solana!!!"

Sliding down the horse's barrel, Tänya lands lightly on her feet and interposes her body between the prone corpse of her horse and the rogue. She bows low to the half-blood, then slowly rises to address him.

"I thank you sincerely for your help. Please, go do what you can for the bard. I will see to Solana...

"If it is at all possible to bind the bear, instead of killing him outright, please see what you can do. I wish to question his other form, before I slash his throat like he did Solana's..."

Turning back to the barely moving animated corpse of her friend, Tänya moves to just behind the crown of her head, kneels next to her and gently strokes her neck and nose. Softly crooning arcane words of healing and comfort, she wraps her arms around her neck and lays one cheek against her. A soft golden glow flows from her hands, as Cure Minor Wounds suffuses the animal, extinguishing the final spark of undead animation in the horse's body.

As the glow fades, Tänya buries her head into the now still neck, and weeps.
