Map and stats have been updated. (You're impressed by the map, eh? hehe) World & Events this evening.

I am!
Nice learning curve you got going there...

Damn, that map is slick. My mountain range doesn't look like a canyon drawn by a two year old anymore! :P

A two yea...!! Man, for the weakest deity on Narie, somebody's got quite the little attitude going!

Hehe. A very talented and forgiving two-year old! :D

Just poking fun Zeph.

...pushover...

...oops
recalling what I said in PM just before my results arrived...

*rethinking that*

You are ever wondrous and wise, SomeFather...

Thanks for the enthusiasm, folks! :D Glad you're all enjoying it as much as I am.

I edited Agape's post in the Game thread. The northern and southern halves of Mekoth have somewhat different languages. Same root language, I suppose you'd say. But the outrageous mountain range really cuts the continent in half. There is travel between the halves, mainly along the western coast. But it's a big continent. Took a month or so to go from Ahava to Vinzhest. There might be some fast-moving traveler who's seen Candlar and already made it up to the delta region, but nothing like a trade caravan. If you want something like that to happen, you'll probably have to make it happen.

It's easier if one knows these limitations ahead of time, SomeFather.
But, alright.
The trials and tribulations of improvised role playing, as it were...

We will carry on until we each reach the point specified in our results, I dare say. ;)

...I am still hoping others will join in with their own interactions per results in the game thread...

I don't know how to list all the things you can't do.
In this case, a character you invented is giving another deity's Prophet information that neither character has. You can invent a character for dramatic purposes, but you can't use the character to make things happen that have not happened.

Understood.
Your edit is fine.
I was simply more specific than you, since I didn't know a trader caravan leader wouldn't know details of the southern half of the continent.

He would know details of the southern half of the continent. He just wouldn't know such recent details, because it's so far away, and there's only the one route that's not through serious mountains.

So, what about a Turn 4 deadline? Sunday the 12th is Easter. Moves don't have to be submitted on the 12th. They can be sent any time in the next 10 days. Since nobody has more than 2 DRPs, and there's not serious interaction yet, maybe 10 days is enough? Is there anyone who will not be able to put together a move in the next 10 days?

As I said, it is sensible reasoning.
Just nothing that occurred to me or was hinted at previously.
But, accepted.
Let's not drag this out, eh?

ooo, I hate to do this...

Possibly me.
I'll be at my FIL's for Passover starting late Monday night, and returning late Friday, which gives me from now until Monday afternoon and then Saturday and Sunday to prepare a turn.

Since we dropped dial-up access, and FIL has no internet himself, I'll be trying the 20 hour dial-up access my DSL provider says is available. But with my own level of technophobia, I fear I may be out of touch completely via computer those four days, unless I get over to the Broward County library for a session or two on their internet access computers. Although maybe the library will have spots where a laptop can be hooked in without having to schedule a time. I know that is an option at the library here in Gator Town. hmm... What with shopping and cooking for the sederim though...

And Agapé's people does have some interaction going on at the moment...

I can try composing my turn off line, and sending texts to email accounts when necessary, but I can not promise Saturday and Sunday will be enough time to wrap it all up.

...I'll try.

Heh. Not trying to drag it out. :D Much of Aesir is not yet established. I want to make sure everybody understands whatever we come across. In general, don't assume that even your own Prophet knows what you know. You need to tell me what info you're passing on to your Prophet. And, as I've said often, you can speak with your Prophet any time you want, through me, via txt, pm, email, phone call (If you have Verizon), IM, etc. If you want your Prophet to give info to others, make it part of your turn submittal. Non-DRP is fine. I just want things spelled out.

OK, Turn 4 deadline is Sunday, the 19th.

Then, since I'm getting married the 26th, Turn 5 will be May 3rd or 10th, but we'll figure that out when it comes along.

Yes, but none of my own followers were even involved in that exchange, unless Jharvik's words affected Cerunan and his caravan as well. But although I said they talked as they traveled in my submittal, I have not jumped to that conclusion, as nothing was said regarding it in my results. As I said, I just assumed a trader would be up to date. But the size of the continent, the mountain range splitting the continent in half, and the fact the deities made themselves known only six months previously all support what you said. So again...
Accepted.
Odin wrote:OK, Turn 4 deadline is Sunday, the 19th.
This is why I didn't want to cause results to be put off.
That's the day after the next Pantheon deadline, in case that causes problems for anyone. I can work on both with no problem, but I don't know if that is the case for others...

Is there a reason why it is not this Sunday, the 5th? I know I can get a Turn ready in that time; the problem with the 12th for me was compensating for any possible interaction while I was AFK...
