Out of all of the them...the only one that didn't care about the white gold was The Gaurdian. He never mentioned it or looked at it. The Healer feared it, Amok spoke of it, Findail wanted it, and Covenant of course had it...

True. And part of the answer. But I could have grouped him with any number of characters, and he would still stand out for that reason by itself. But he and the rest all have something in common, which is tied in with his origin.

I know this is a strange one. When you guess it, or I reveal it, we'll see if it was too much for this kind of game.

OK, that's pretty good.

All of them were chosen/assigned/whatever, to do something. Covenant by the Creator, Findail by all the Elohim, the Guardian by Berek, and the Healer by Morinmoss/Caer-Caveral. All were, as far as we know, chosen because of their particular characteristics and abilities.

But Amok was actually created for his purpose.

And I could have substituted Vain for Amok.
