"MoonStrider? He is a bad man. Very bad."
I walk over to Annalysei and Katrina.
"He's the elf with the Heshic cloak, isn't he? He's the one who betrayed the Heshic tribe. He's the one who travels between the two groups of elves. How will you deal with him, when you find him?"
Vynarkus, meanwhile, has been using Detect Magic to search the dead elves (and the entire room) for anything of use. He ponders his occasional glimpses of understanding into languages he has never studied, and wonders if it will progress furthur, as he knew exactly what he was saying to the Golem, but not what Kalindriel and Aednat are saying to each other.

I nod in agreement "The Good Man said he's bad. So he will be Dealt with."
"I don't know about cloaks or groups of elves. The Good Man said 'Little Trina' He calls me that when he wants something done. 'There is a bad man, Moonstrider, he does bad things. What do you do to bad men who do bad things?"
Smiling widely eyes suddenly intense "I Deal with them"
Eyes wide, Anna wonders how long it'll be before their new companion decides they need to be Dealt with, and resolves to sleep with a dagger from now on. Shaking the grim thoughts from her head, she asks, "Do you know the Good Man's name?"
-Cloak of Greater Displacement (50% miss chance)
-Gargoyle Boots
-Ring of Minor Spell Storing
- Gauntlet of Ogre Power
101 base HP
Smiling widely, the intensity gone from her eyes "He's the Good Man. People talk to him, call him Sir sometimes, but he's the Good Man. He does good things."
She crackles and hisses in reply, "Because the alternative is to scorch everything we come across. Which might be fun, but leaves naught but ashes to sift through for information, and ends unpleasantly when the 'fun' decides to extinguish our plans."
Adding with the faint intensity of a dying flame, "Also because being right doesn't mean much if no one acknowledges it."
"So, do we call you 'Little Trina' too? Or does only the Good Man call you that, when he wants you to deal with a bad man? I'm Led Pighp, but you can call me Led. This is Laurel, and Marrik, and Skyseeker, and Annalysei, and Vynarkus, and Kalindriel, and Aednat."
"And we're very interested in making sure that you deal with Moonstrider. If he's here somewhere, maybe we can help you find him? We haven't seen him in several days, though."
"I'm Katrina. The Good Man usually calls me that, but it's the way he says it that lets me know when I have to Deal with a bad man."
After talking to her a bit, you can actually hear the capital letters in the words.
"I dunno, The Good Man usually said *singsong* "When the job is on, no time to shirk. Trina's out, on solo work"
"But he didn't say that this time..."
Screwing up her face in thought and staring towards the floor, cocking her head slightly to each side, her lips moving silently.
She nods once, then says "The Good Man knows Good things, and he tells me these things. He didn't say to work alone, so he must have meant if I found people." Looking up "Who weren't bad men, and they were going to Deal with him, then..." She stops to think then has an outburst "YAY! I made friends!" and begins bouncing up and down her hands in front of her fighting not to clap.
Kalindriel watches Katrina's joyous exuberance then looks around for signs of something. Switching back to the common tongue she mutters, mostly to herself, "I never saw the signs of the portal, but I swear we've entered the Nine Hells. It's the only explanation for this madness."
Overhearing Kali's mutters, Anna walks closer and murmurs so as not to be overheard, "Either that, or someone's poisoned our waterskins with something interesting so that we're all delusional. I would have preferred unicorns."
