exultant expedite expulsion
The hovering, still exultant pixie was shocked out of her self-congratulatory reverie by the sight of the ancient Witch-King of Varaklan. She quickly sheathed her fey sword to expedite her retreat flight. But the expulsion of ancient air from the vault took her breath away, slowing her progress.

exaggerate evanescent endanger
Fearing his emaciated physical condition would spur his enemies to attack, the Witch King of Varaklan cast a quick illusion about himself that seemed to exaggerate his outline, giving him the appearance of being the robust character he was known as. Furthermore, evanescant energies crackled about him, making it seem as if he were at full power, which was definitely not the case. But soon, he would be at full power, able to wreak restitutional havok on those foul Ogres who sought to endanger him.

antithesis acrimonious argent
The Paladin of Illuma came in answer to the silent calling of the pixie, and the Witch King watched the approach of his antithesis. He spat out an acrimonious incantation, and a bolt of malevolent energy shot out of his emaciated hand. The Paladin held her Luminous Avenger aloft and deflected the bolt with a starburst of argent light.

coruscation pernicious crack
With a startling coruscation of energy, Dr. Manhattan vanished from the studio. The vultures of the pernicious media were left staring at the seat where he was a second ago. They had just witnessed a crack in space and time.

You should see my first ones, MM. On second thought, don’t look. We’re glad to have you join us.
I lost touch with the pixie when that vault cracked open. Couldn’t continue the story, didn’t want to break it.

hologram senile borzoi
An inventor had a very special hologram, which he liked to play as he relaxed in front of the fireplace in the evening. It commemorated his father, and it gave him a happy glow, to watch the old man age into senility. From an athlete with the physique of an angel, the grace of a borzoi, and the fist of a thug, his father subsided each evening into a quavering mass of wrinkled tissue.

Nice to be here, Joy. "quavering mass of wrinkled tissue"??

Powerful imagery there...
welfare rim phased
The newly crowned monarch saw that the welfare of his poorest subjects was suffering because of the inept rule of his predecessor. They existed at the outer rim of the kingdom, almost forgotten. The new king phased out the policies of the old regime, and began a period of reform.

straddle fireproof representative
The secret of the US electoral process is to whole-heartedly straddle the fence and look strongly supportive of everything all at once. Living the paradox is all about having a fireproof soul and a self-congratulatory optimism. The successful self-representative can then go on to pretend to be that of the people..... [Ah, only election years can bring out my true bipartisan bitterness in the Grand Tango of Lesser Evils].

rifling regulate ragamuffin
When I caught detective Jones rifling through the personnel files, I never thought he might actually be on a case. All I knew was that it was my job to regulate access to those files, and no one was allowed to enter the file room without my permission. So, I shot the ragamuffin and promptly refiled him under 'deceased'.

quantum quizzical quaint
Albert Einstein had his own ideas about quantum mechanics. Though he failed out of college, he was a brilliant man, though his quizzical nature garnered him more infamy, at least initially. Though his theories remain today, there are some who miss his quaint, nerdy personality most of all.

Now I have some energy to spare.
frenetic vindicate hulk
What most people seem to remember about Albert Einstein is his frenetic hair. The question of whether or not to vindicate his theories seems to be of less interest. His teachers may have considered his brain to be a hulk of unimpressionable metal, but that was because they weren't the ones making an impression on him.

corduroy jingle patulent
A pair of corduroy pants were in order to visit the county ball. With the jingle of the music, the foldings of the pants would rub to create a nice accompanying sound to the dance. A dictionary would be put in the pockets to look up any obscure words, like 'patulent', that may be mentioned.

Savoury Socialist Eclipse
The savoury delight of faintly browned mushroom & olive pizza calls from the kitchen. No socialist nonsense about this pizza, it's first-come-first-served! I have arranged that I will be first, by enclosing the cats in the back room where their cries cannot eclipse my hunger.

Though I was comfortably past my sixtieth birthday, my elderly mother felt the need to admonish me as I frolicked in the sand. She didn't even attempt to hide the flicker of smug triumph that crossed her face as she winessed my discomfort later. Since my escapades on the beach, my underpants seemed to have taken on an unpleasantly sabulous quality.

After a night on the town, he had an indefinite mastery of his car. The early hours of the morning found him flipped at the bottom of an embankment. His traction apparatus proved to be a harsher taskmaster than his boss had been.

There was silence in the black, empty universe. The fleece-jacket was the only thing keeping the magus alive in the intense cold. But the cost was worth it for the access to a primordial universe, ripe for shaping and plundering.

Sacrifice Manager Recipe
The Buckos' pitcher made a sacrifice bunt to first base. While the Orcas' manager raged, his first baseman muffed both the catch and the quick toss to third. It was a recipe for a wild inning, with the Buckos ending their half three runs ahead.
