That's typical for me I never eat lunch and when it offered I usually avoid it-but when I want it I'm almost always too late *sticks a blade of grass in mouth, whistles*

Two bowling teams, one of all Blondes and one of all Brunettes, charter a double-decker bus for a weekend bowling tournament in Atlantic City.

The Brunette team rides in the bottom of the bus. The Blonde team rides on the top level.

The Brunette team down below is whooping it up having a great time, when one of them realizes she doesn't hear anything from the Blondes upstairs. She decides to go up and investigate.

When the Brunette reaches the top, she finds all the Blondes frozen in fear, staring straight-ahead at the road, and clutching the seats in front of them with white knuckles.

She says, "What the heck's goin' on up here? We're havin' a grand time downstairs!" One of the Blondes from the second team looks up and says, "Yeah, but you've got a driver!"

Oh, what the heck -- it's Friday!

Sister Mary Katherine entered the Monastery of Silence. The Priest said, Sister, this is a silent monastery. You are welcome here as long as you like but you may not speak until I direct you to do so."



Sister Mary Katherine lived in the monastery for 5 years before the Priest said to her, "Sister Mary Katherine, you have been here for 5 years.

Save the Garden!

Plant more perennials, danlo.

Excellent idea! Prep the compost, rake the leaves, winterize the trees, and install heaters in the fishpond and birdbaths--off to work! Ah! The bugs and dirt and crap me feel at once with the earth and my spirit!!

Just reviving the Garden as a repository of general wealth because it seems like other topics in this forum have other things to do...(and I really needed somewhere to discretely laugh my ASS off after I saw Jay refer to KW as "What?! Klondike Warhorse?" in the TCTC discussion! )
