I find it interesting which group the majority of our members fall in. Is it that SRD's work attracts a mature audience or is it the fact that so many of us first read his work shortly after LFB was published and remain dedicated to this day? I am also somewhat suprised at how much company I have in the nearly 40 to just over 40 crowd. Kindred spirits perhaps. And we can thank Kevin's Watch for bringing us all in contact with one another. :-)

Majority? Only 76 people voted. 76 out of nearly 1600. Still, I like your question. I read LFB as a teenager, and am still a dedicated fan.

Let's be fair. There are not 1600 active users, just that many registered users. Some have no posts.

And, just for the record, I didn't read TCTC till I was in my 40's. :)

There are over 1000 members who have posted, making dAn's comment fairer than you are giving it credit for.

Active members? I don't know how that is defined, but there are 256 members with 50 or more posts, 335 members with 25 or more posts, 505 members with 10 or more posts, and 1060 with at least 1 post, 78 of which have voted.

Here. Let me fix this before somebody gets hurt.

I find it interesting, OF THE MEMBERS THAT VOTED, which group the majority of our members fall in.

There. All fixed. :-)

Which group voted?

In regard to the voting poll that was asked at the beginning of this discussion thread named “What age group are you?” which displayed the results of said poll and placed the aforementioned results in groups or categories according to the various age groups that were defined in the polling question, I believe the largest numbers displayed “30 to 40 = 33% with a total of 26 members voting for this particular choice and >40 = 25% with 20 members voting for this choice represented (when combined) the largest age group of our Kevin’s Watch membership that chose to participate in the aforementioned poll that was asked at the beginning of this discussion thread. The impressions I stated in my earlier post were based upon this information which is most likely a non scientific, marginally accurate sampling for the Kevin’s Watch membership at large. I claim no specific accuracy, validation or certifiable fact regarding this information.

Well, if you'd like, I'll vouch for the fact that you're certifiably mad.

I think that, for the purposes of this poll, we would have to define active members as people who were active from around the time this poll was first posted up till the present. :)

It's not really fair to include people who aren't posting anymore when you discuss what percentage of members responded, even if they do have a lot of posts. How would they respond if they don't check the forum anymore? ;)

Well, just thought I'd get in quick and vote on this one before I turn 30 next month and move into the next age bracket.
