Nephirthos, I shall send an elite regiment to reinforce your southernmost flank, and I will extend to your army my influence. Good luck.
Well, unfortunate to see you behaving in such a manner. Is there no Love
anywhere outside of Ai-Bhakti????? As I prepare for death, I can only hope your Luck has not improved of late!

Oh dear, dear...A few days without my luscious presence, and LOOK at you boys...
Can we PLEASE stop this fruitless bickering? Can you all stop and use your BIG heads instead of your small ones? The danger is the demonic hordes threatening our PEOPLE!!! And if you all insist on pointing the finger of blame at each other without searching for the truth, and pooling resources to rout out the REAL enemy, then I'm sorry, but I must withdraw my people into the deep forest where we shall blend with nature and ANNIHILATE anyone who tries to conquer us. Do not fcuk with nature, boys. She doesn't take kindly to indiscriminate destruction. Do not attempt entry into my forest either, for magical protection encircles it and none but those whom I trust are allowed access therein.
Beware the power of a Goddess, darlings. When she's on a roll, she is NOT to be trifled with.

Taking over an entire forest for your own needs and killing any who enter? Denying the natural beauty of the forest to all but your followers? Where's the honour in that? I understand the desire to protect your followers, but why hurt everyone else to do so?

My heartfelt congratulations, brother Amplarx. I had not realised that you had recently added self-righeousness to your list of cares.
At the present time we have a rift in the fabric of reality through which creatures are entering our world and a hidden hoarde of demons threatens us all. Surely there are more important things to worry about than how our sister chooses to defend her home.
Is she not merely responding to the current climate of hostility, where we would seek to destroy each other for little reason. We already have one crusade that has started because Toringian does not like the way Argothoth deals with what are essentially internal matters, and Nephirthos seeks to destroy Bhakti, more, I suspect, because he is the god of Malice than because of any other reason he has put forth.
Besides, as the goddess of nature, isn't it only fitting that Elauradaneth dwells in a forest and not a fortress? I do not see any other member of the Pantheon relaxing their security measures - why should she? At least she had the grace to warn us all, that we may in turn warn our people.
Such petty squabbling ill befits the god of honour my brother. You have extended your protection to the followers of Argothoth, which I commend. Are there not other honourable tings that require attention, rather than berating our sister for prtoecting her own?

Well,
I don't seek this.

As the only reason he has put forth - that I planned an attack on him - is a lie, yes, it would seem the reason is because he is the god of Malice.
However, Ai-Bhakti is surrounded on three sides by a forest, and I, quite Naturally, Love the forest. So I am quite saddened that, because Nephirthos is being what his nature demands, my people and I are forbidden to attempt to enter this glorious realm.

She did say "none but those whom I trust are allowed access therein."
I think you'll be all right.

Avatar just informed me that when you said 12am Wednesday, you meant 12am Thursday. Will this always be the case? I know a thing or two about Love, but Time is Argothoth's schtick. He's probably sitting back, relaxing, drinking a cool one as he plans his moves, and I'm rushing to get my moves in 24 hours earlier.

And folks, a teeny request (to
everybody, not just Bhakti

), can we keep questions and comments in the
Comments thread? (Maybe even the "End of Turn" announcements?)

Turn 8 is over; deadline for turn 9 is sunday, 12 am GMT.
I also join Avatar in asking that all out of character discussions be placed in the Comments thread, which exists for exactly that reason

Hahahaha! I feel the chaos flowing through that land. So, you thought you could all betray me? I am deeply upset by this… thought you could all trick me? No matter, I have now been overwhelmed by power and I thank you all for it.

Are you also the God of Simplemindedness and Paranoia? Nephirthos, you see challenge and slight where there is none. You were the instigator in this war (whatever you claim), and you are the one who will suffer because of it, no matter your momentary gains.
Though I choose to act only indirectly in these matters, my support is for the armies and gods that oppose you.

I am deeply upset... I was always the enemy, even since I entered the world. You all organised an attack against me, I had little power. Too bad you didn’t carry it out, now I have the power. Where there is war, there is chaos. Where there is chaos, there is malice. More and more conflict would only breed more power for me.

Where did you get this impression? No attack has been organised against you. Only defence when you placed yourself as the aggressor. We have been too concerned with the other affairs - the demon attack - to have somehow worked against you in the manner you seem to believe. Perhaps your paranoia is the root of your malice.

Specifically, this fighting force is being formed in order to oppose Nephirthos' followers, who seem to be devoting themselves to causing grief and strife for the innocent. There is no honour in such things, so they must be opposed, and the innocent must be protected.
i am sure you are already aware of the growing evil festering in the North. followers already flock to Nephirithos' dark banner. it would appear he has used some of his shadowy power to hide his movements from us for a time. or perhaps in our divinity we were too arrogant and failed to see what we should. regardless, this is something we cannot continue to overlook. none of us are safe from such an unhinged mind. i would suggest a council of war. i am willing to use the next three months(*the turn after this*) preparing a small force in protection of my own lands and followers but also a force to come to the aid of all that require it against such despite. i sincerely hope that together we can stand against this madness.
Sometime there is no a real reason to make a war.
The chaos and the disorder make war just because it is the best way to achieve their goals...
So be prepared !
some of the many things which has been said. Avatar would remember that I said that if you leave me alone then I would keep myself to myself, even offered to help out against the demons(though they disappeard before I got the chance). Then I got this:
A group of Bhakti's more belligerent followers declares a crusade against Nephirthos's followers. In retaliation, Nephirthos's followers declare a crusade against Bhakti's worshipers.
I had no choice.

You could have done what Bhakti did, and reined in the followers who had declared this crusade without their god's knowledge.

I'll add also that the selected quotes you offer mention opposing your forces, protecting land, aiding such protection for allies, and preparing to defend against attack. None made mention of any acts of aggression, only retaliation and/or defence in the instance of such as has happened in these past turns.

No, I choose what to do in my land and I was threated becuase of it. I made it clear I had no intention of attacking any of you but you still had the attention of attacking. Bhakti said that he had no control over those who wishd to fight me, well I say the same. They are acting to protect my kingdom. It was not long before I would be attacked, anyway.
