In all fairness, if the McCaffrey forum (or any other one) gets axed, the Wolfe forum should too. I wouldn't want it to happen, but I can live with it.
I'll just say that Wolfe is very important contemporary fantasy writer and deserves the forum. But there's only a hanful of people at the Watch that actually read him, and we get maybe 2 or 3 posts a month.
*shrug* I could just keep a link to a general Wolfe thread linked in my sig and keep bumping it when necessary.

I'd participate more in the Wolfe forum, but I always feel that whatever I say about his work will have been discussed to death already - his work has been so heavily analysed it's hard to know where to begin, really.
Reminds me, there's something I wanted to mention about Wolfe and China Mieville's work, but I need quotes for it, so it'll have to wait a couple of weeks until I have the books with me.
