My name's Andy. I joined because I have lurked these pages for a long time now and I finally figured i should just sign up.
I first discovered SRD twelve years ago when i was about twelve. i was browsing a neighborhood yard sale and found the second chronicles in a big box of fantasy novels. i'd never heard of it but they had the best covers of all the books i saw, and at 50 cents a pop the price was right. I've been a fan ever since.
hopefully i'll have interesting things to contribute to these discussions!

Welcome, Andy! I still have my orig 6 paperbacks (very much used) and they are my treasures; and located in the honorary place, which is on the top left of my huge paperback bookcase...right before Tolken's books.

A few tips to make your transition easier:
1) All the really cool people hang out in General Discussion.
2) Loremaster commands a legion of zombies. No, really.
3) If you want to impress the ladies, post a video of you doing some kind of martial arts. Failing that, a picture posted to the album will do wonders.
4) Be nice to Vain, no matter what.
5) Put on a helmet and a flak jacket before entering the Tank for the first time. It's no place for sissies.
