It's interesting how we see things differently when we remove the distraction of color. Every light and shadow shows itself. I think it's the same with movies.

These are beautiful and intense. Seems to fit my moods these days.

lorin,,Digital Photography captures the unseen and with a bit of processing, the unseen can pop out. I'm learning to trust it.

all of your most recent work reminds me (and especially what you said

That last one almost looks like water. A stormy ocean, perhaps. Reminds me a bit of some infrared work I did years ago. Wonder if I still have any of that...

Sorus, yes, it is all water, ocean and cloud.. and sometimes I have fun with the apparent " waves" in the sky...

Infra red..I hope you find the pics. I've never taken the opportunity.

That one does look like snow. Well, the memory card I used seems to be corrupted, and the hard drive with the backup files is in a defunct computer - technically salvageable, but that's not going to happen any time soon.

I could take more, but the sky is a flat shade of industrial grey today, with nary a photogenic wisp in sight.

Did find a couple of ocean pics, however. This is the monochrome version:

And the color version:

..and all the way to red hot beach scene...ha!, Sorus, its not hot but its full of energy, below is a cloud shot I cropped down to make look tsunamic,,or at least stormy.
