I'm alive and well.....just busy as all heck.

Working on the inside and outside of my hosue has kept me quite busy......hopefully all my hard work will pay off in some nice relaxation time in the fall.

Did you hink at me Cail....I don't rememer seeing you...but then again if I was thinking of other stuff I may not have noticed.

Going to see The Police tomorrow night in NY City, but will be back on the Watch on Monday!

I was on the Harley, so you wouldn't have recognized me (probably).

Yeah...no way I would have picked you out on the bike.

I stopped by the old watering hole for the first time in many months to say Hi to Tom- who sends his hellos to you. While the conversation was nice I won't be back for some months more. And only really to see Tom.....

Not to mention I'm 40 pounds lighter than the last time you saw me.

Heh, I've actually checked for your car as I drive by when I'm dropping Cailette off. I doubt I'll ever set foot in there again.

Thanks for the well wishes. They give me an inner strength or serve to reinforce my inner strength (I would like to think that I already had an inner strength before the well wishes)...or something.

I was just wondering this myself.
I pm'd her a few weeks back, but got no reply. She's still active on her myspace page, so I assume she's ok.

What you laughin' at!!!!??? :P

It's quite boring so far to be honest. Lots of powerpoint stuff and incessant drill practice. We've done a little gym work etc. Food's not bad, although they expect you to go from 1800 to 0630 the next day with no food whatsoever, which is pretty tough. Good bunch of blokes, though.

12 hours without food? Wow. Didn't know that was part of the standard routine. I guess it's one of those little details not found in the promotional literature. I learn something new at KW every day...

Yeah, we had that in the Navy here too--it's specialized training in the event that a kamekazi slams into the galley.

Hey its 3 squares a day not 4 and for the most part..... most people dont need that 4th meal. It would only cause them to get fat.

Heck, most of the time, my family eats between 18:30 and 19:00 and we dont eat again until morning. I dont ever remember it being different.

Yeah, I guess if you have a good dinner, that's all you need to sustain yourself til breakfast.

Hey, don't get the impression I'm gluttonous...I'm a light eater myself. :)

I've lost about 5 pounds in the last 3 weeks, and I was pretty thin before I started. We don't finish our duties until around 2230, so we have 3 or 4 hours fairly hard work with no food. I go to bed hungry on most nights.

WOW, Im surprised.. I actually put on weight when I joined the army. I was a skinny kid when I joined with a weight of about 125 soaking wet and when I left basic training I weighed about 150ish and alot more muscle than I had before. I do remember packing in the groceries at chow time because I knew it was gonna be a while in between.
